Welcome to the first day of Spring. Yet spring has sprung in different locals. And the grass has rise.
Over here we have a few more weeks to go...so it is. :)
We had some warmer temps the end of last week.....BUT.....Snow is back in the forecast for Wednesday. They are saying 4", with cold and flurries the rest of the week. I think March will go out like a lion!
It is definitely Spring here, JACK (not Bill, hehehe). I have little flowers in my "yard" around my patio. We had rain this morning then sunshine this afternoon. Our high was 58 degrees but our low was 41 degrees. I LOVE this time of year!
We were in the mid 30's there have been years where it's goes up to 60 here but each year is different. My hopes are that shortly things take on a comfortable climate. Yet I love it when it's hot. Let's trade! :)
It shall come yet we had much snow this year which is not normal for these parts as we mostly just get the cold. But just within a few it shall come and oh yeah!
Oh no, Mr. Bill! I loved watching that. I had a good friend in school named Bill, his mom was my piano teacher and we both played the baritone in band. Anyway, I still call him Mr. Bill. Good memories :) Happy Spring to you, almost! We are in a winter storm warning through Wed, could get 6-11 inches of snow by then. I heard a robin today, sandhill cranes, and have seen geese and trumpeter swans looking for open water on our pond. I feel bad for the robins when we get winter weather while they are here so early. A lot of our snow has melted this week, water running and mud forming everywhere.
We have had some high water levels yet that is A ok with me Faye and here too we are in for flurries but before you know it spring shall be within ones step.
It's funny to watch our goats when spring is in the air. They literally start jumping and leaping, full of spit and vinegar. Oh, I know it's coming, it's just teasing us right now!
It's weeks like this that I sometimes wonder why I am out here, or why it is that my husband needed to dig a trench to bury conduit to the house last fall that left the whole area that we walk in to do chores full of soft, squishy mud. He did it so that we could have power from our wind generator, but still :) Anyway, it gives my legs exercise, sloshing through that clinging mud!
We are here as well Patty and this has to change. Your most welcome there as I figured out the premise of some of your writes on that day. Hugs back there.
Julie there are places here that are much different for example the East is different than here and the the very West and it's not here yet we got a tad of snow and I want the sprung! :)
Sure if you wish. Here I have a few things to do but there was a goal structure and well that's another story onto itself. A day within sweats. (Long story but bored as............).
