It Did Not Happen

Seemingly this last week and this week we have seen something of the likes of what we had some years ago. You would think that things change but we have come to a time that there again things that we are doing. This week with Omar, reminded me so much with Iraq. The one that I marvel within all of this is the alliances that were set up - that is excluding out the situation with Japan. How can one write on these two situations.

Certainly there most of all we don't wish to see this take place but the one thing is that this time around Obama made a good move. As fanatical arabs can't place nor blame America. This was an alliance of many. I think that was a smart move and from what I feel. This shall be over with soon. It's ironic though on how the Arab league of nations are sitting there backing up the UN's decision. They don't believe in a man that has since the Regan times is back at it. But just perhaps and I hope most probable that there is no one country to blame anymore as much as they would like too as this was a first since the first Gulf war where there were alliances to take action. We are not within the times to be addressing such matters. Especially when there is Japan at hand but I certainly am fond of it when you see these alliances come into play.

As far as Omar, I don't think he shall be resting in tents as he has done as a ritual for the past ten years. Yet the mandate is not to kill but to take out all military installation of Lybia. I believe in peace. And especially within this time and era.

History has proved in the past never to take on the Ottemum (misspelling) empire. Yet the empire has voted for this and backs up it. For some reason I think that there were several people - leaders as such that paved the ground on this one as America will not be blamed nor any country for this action that was taken and I don't think it's going to take as much out of our economies as times before.

When you look at it all it can be mind bloggling yet this has always been sitting there for years. And only due to the actions taken by Omar - did the UN make a decision to take out all of Lybia's military infrastructure. No president nor prime minister wished for this one - to say the least. Yet I think it was prudent that action has been taken before this came to be out of hand.

Japan was enough for me but then here was a tyrant that thought he understood full well that he could take advantage of the situation.

It didnt happen. In this case and it was not just the western world, it was Europe as well as with the moral backing of other Arab nations. So there is not blame to any country as all came together in unision for a good act to mankind.

  7. The main thought here was this is not the end of the world. Nor shall it be a repeat and the need to extend more money into all these miltary missions.
As well, there shall be no one country from which to blame - not with this one.

  8. we seem to forget that we might have armed the rebel forces and let then liberate them self--i hope that there is not continued warfare as omar does not seem to give up easily---it is complex yet simple---dictators are overthrown---people long for freedom---yet we are tribal by nature

  11. Pam I think we all are in economic times where there is much to be questioned - and I do think there was much thought placed into this before all the countries did take action. He is one of many but I one has to question if we are there for humanitarian reasons or for other reasons. I tend to think when the other arab nations backed this all up within the UN which was not easy - there had to be much thought put into place.

He had done this once before and there was no alliances with the arab league and there are other countries that are with regimes but the man has been on the radar for years. Yet I don't think this will be catasrophic. I think that it shall be over sooner than shorter. That really is my take on it all. Yet it's just my own opinion.

  12. They are who said otherwise?
Sometimes to have the very rights of love and peace it takes force. Where would we be if we never ever protected out very rights of freedom? Where would we be if we just sat and let everything happen. Would we have what we have today.

Love is and peace is. Either your asking me to turn the page or your asking me to change the subject. But I luv ya :)

  13. The idiots that have to engage in war... to be greedy with what their country produces that other countries need.

  14. If everyone stopped all that work hard to protect and they all just stopped and we left all lands with no protection then what your saying is we would have peace and love as we know it?

  15. If every one on the planet were full of love, peace would be a no brainer. Nobody would have to protect anything.

  18. I know and it's an ideal and no one ever wishes for war. I know I don't. Nor do these three ladies:

  19. What does war get the people of a country? They are left with the damage. In Sarajevo there are still bombed buildings waiting to be torn down all these years later. People must see them every day as they pass. They had to pay for repairs to their own homes and rebuild their lives.

  20. There are people that LOVE war, that LIVE for war. Makes them feel powerful.

  21. I agree but what we have is due to the merits of those that are in service and democracy was derived and always protected by means of people in service.

  22. I never expected President Obama to agree to action such as taking place in Libya.

  23. I never desired this to be anything but a write as Obama and others leaders agreed on it. I don't love war nor does any person on this earth.
Not the way I see it. I think we are all tired of this and never expected this to happen to be very honest.

  24. I don't think anything is ever solved by creating a military action in another country. We need to defend our own, and let the world defend themselves. The last war I understood was WWII. Japan attacked the US to get us involved in the war. Then we were defending our own. From then on we have been involved in police actions that had no outcome. It has been bombing and killing for the sake of doing it.

  25. Not all people in the service are in it to serve their countries, some are serving themselves and their own egos.

  26. As I said before, there are people that love war.

  27. I feel the same. We have spent much money on these areas. One example if I may as an American/Canadian - for that matter I could be from anywhere on this earth. We do wish to have peace and all that goes with it. My write may have been misconscrewed. Yet I believe in the very things that ensure and preserve peace.

  28. There are mental examinations to weed those people out because they are the ones who can not follow orders and get innocent people killed.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yes and we love the freedoms and wish and desire enjoy them - that is our own lands. I got ya (hugs). :)

    ReplyDelete
  30. Ummm somehow I don't think those mental examinations are working, there are way to many people that are deemed mentally fit only to commit suicide in war. Others slip through the cracks.
