Those Weekend Journeys

I love the weekend and the journeys that come about. Yesterday I was out and I wanted to visit this one person I had met a while back he owns and group of Arabian horses and I took my run. I hope the weather does take a change here pretty soon. As on the weekends thats the time where I head out and one finds the most interesting things. So I took a few pictures and on this computer has been acting up but it's that enjoyment. I remember very well two years ago being to this person's acreage and the horses were something to see to say the least.

Today I have just cleaned and actually had a very nice day. All in all but I know I need to tend to another few things this week and that is about it. As when I get on here it's very hard to catch up but I am trying to do that right now and  - I wish I knew how to post more than one picture within my blog entry but simple is simple does.

Here in Canada we are facing another election. It's rather redundant if you ask me. But they called it. And Canadian politics can be rather bizarre to say the least. The above picture is one arabian horse we are still waiting for that spring. But all things considered this has been a very decent Sunday as most often I am out and on with so many things where it's been an enjoyable weekend.

  2. He raises 25 of these and they are my cousin is a breeder of Clydesdales. When the weather
has warmed up a tad I wish to do more nature settings especially within the likes of these.

    A Priceless beauty
    By Hayley Sargent

    He'll be there for you
A prancing stride, matching your fluttering heart
A rear, a strike, and you are captivated
He snorts with glee as he plays with his shadow

You can run, but god's wind will always be there
He moves like a cloud, sweeping across the blue skies
Your family depends on his heart, and speed
He'll run his heart to prove your honor

    He'll be there for you
From the time you call his name
Not that he is bound to this earth
    His soul can take flight
But it's your purity that keeps him grounded

Each stride of his trot teases the idea of flight
His eyes are deep pools of mankind's determination
    He has seen all
His scream can quiet the most busy trade route

    When the day is done
    He'll be there for you
    Settled into your tent
    His heart bonded to yours

    The next day shall come,
and he shall tempt the heavens again

  10. Lovely poem. How pretty the mane is! Do you ever ride horses, Jack? I am a bit scared of them.

  14. Thanks Cille. You know there there time does play a factor but thanks and yesterday I have. As I do hope with you as well.
It doesnt come as easy and I loved to write and right now I could write about a few areas as it's been a day that I have taken to just take it easy... I am noticing that even on the net if we look back ten years ago or even five we don't have the same type of writing. Yet that horse was nice and all good things in time.

  15. Neat horse picture. I've never went horse back riding except for once so many years ago. I was only 17. It was a place called Red Horse Ranch up in MI and I went with a friend ..my horse took off down the wrong path mind of it's own I guess. Kind of a scary experience for me but all turned out well. Horses can be magnificent creatures. I loved watching the Budweiser Clydesdale's while they were in my town . I took a lot of pictures I think they were awesome!
