It's the largest quake to strike Japan in 140 years and now advisories have been sent out to parts of pacific Canada as well as the pacific Unities States. I don't know much about meteorology but this is something. Now I had not been keeping up with the news, as most all of it is regards to politics and ongoing tyrants yet this is different.
With all do respect, I don't understand why Japan would go ahead with reactors after what happened in the past yet that is not for me to say. Apparently there are five main countries that are all prepared to aid and assist. Rather than going back in history I find it tremendous that China has stepped up along with other nations with this situation.
Wars and wars, I see this as being entirely different. Most are mankind inclined. Whereas this is a tad different.
The Japanese foreign ministry listed the 49 countries extending offers of relief, in no particular order: Australia, Taiwan, the United States, South Korea, China, Mexico, Thailand, New Zealand, Israel, Singapore, Indonesia, Azerbaijan, India, Russia, Turkey, Germany, France, Belgium, Ukraine, Slovakia, United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Hungary, Poland, Jordan, the United Kingdom, Chile, Spain, Greece, Hong Kong, Pakistan, Denmark, Serbia, Uruguay, Mongolia, Ecuador, Iran, Kyrgyz Republic, Malaysia, Argentine, Philippines, Canada, Italy, Sweden, Kosovo, Iceland, Norway, Romania, and Slovenia.
I like this as it's a congregation of nations carrying out relief for humanitarian concerns.
yes its wonderful..all those nations helping..pulling together,,thats how it should be:)
ReplyDeleteThis is what it's about Caroline and I truly feel that with all the going ons within within the world. :)
ReplyDeleteI really do.
I agree about the nuclear plants too, 55 total in that area? Why so many? Hoping for the best, fearing the worst.
ReplyDeletePatty yet this really comes down to integrity as nations. And I hope for the best. But I do know what you mean.
ReplyDeleteGood for the countries who have offered help...politically it is the right move...but all in all it is good.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see more acts of humanity like this - it's not good news regarding what has happened - yet what
ReplyDeleteI see as good is the humanitarian collateral acts as such.
in the end we are all just people ----it is sad that it takes a disaster for some to understand that........
ReplyDeleteYeah it is....perhaps this sends a good signal as well within the ways of our world.
ReplyDeleteVery Nice Blog Jack. It is good the Nations come together to help those in need after the quake.
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about what comes next - but Doug I do like the efforts that are happening within this.
ReplyDeleteIt's terrible that a situation as such brings people together yet within it there is unity. And what couldnt be better
despite the situation at hand.
I had no idea there were 55 plants, I thought that there were only 3....omg...
ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine being over there right now and all of the fear and suffering going on...I sincerely hope that with help they can keep all of those plants safe from melting down.
The Great quake was heartbreaking, I've not seen an event so unifying, in it's response. I knew, when I watched the news from beginning to now, it made me cry. It actually motivates me to want to stop my life, and try to go help. How the world changes, how it does.
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed with the organized response. Of course, Japan has been aware and plans made took into consideration catastrophic events. The loss of life would have been much worse had most of their structures taken large quakes into consideration. Yet the loss of any life is painful. The world's support will pour in, as it should.
ReplyDeleteIt has been I met met with one good friend that comes from there and there after I met with some fellow firefighters. There after I met with one person that runs one a friend that is the director of the Synchrotron Light Source here to get a grasp on all that he felt was taking place. As I had matters to attend to yet during the lunch hour it did give some understanding. It's not great right now I just arrived on here and I am not sure how to put all this together to be honest with you.
ReplyDeleteI do, I don't know your first name but I do. Believe me when it comes to areas such as this I do really want to find out more and most often I do. I am not bragging but I do. I can tell you within words how much this does mean to me. I am not obsessed on one area. But when I see life lost or the attempt for life to be saved. I don't care too much about what is happening with me. As corny as it sounds. I literally did head off to bed with a prayer as a life is a life.
ReplyDeleteI don't claim to be any savior but as music, this probably is my default. I have done it with family. I have done it with someone within Iraq and now works in Singapore. It's something that seemingly I got from my father, or maybe within my upbringing. I don't claim to be a hero. I don't claim to be anything more on this blog than what is me.
I thought for a long time last night before I thought to write anything and I chalked it up to another day. Not one man, not one woman can singularly believe they can solve all the things that are within the sphere of life. Yet I have always aspired to this area of "why not". It's an ideal, as this is a writing platform. Yet if I may mention. As often others leave and play games with exception to a few that do know me. I believe. If there is one thing while on this earth - I believe. If there is one thing only I can do on this earth - I believe. When there is belief and a feel as we do. There are some that do look at things and Japan is not my birthplace yet Japanese are human beings. What comes to mind right now are "women and children first". I hope that makes sense.

what a tragedy.. yes..why would be just continue the way we did after such a think like that.. but we do..humans are simple..faulty...dont know it better..dont want it different..
ReplyDeleteHumans are not faulty by nature, they all do have elements that are. Yet within perfection we are don't perfect not you nor anyone on this planet.
ReplyDeleteI forget right now the thought of many notables. Yet it's all within I don't wish nor like to say this but it's the acts of humanity. Humans were born with
inperfections.
Good to see there are so many who want to help. We certainly do have a world of one.
ReplyDeleteNancy within your own definition how do you see that if I may ask?
ReplyDeleteWas just asking nothing more perhaps it's Courage and Integrity which immerses within times
ReplyDeleteas such.
Meaning that the world, as big as it is, is very dependent on each other, making us all a oneness? I don't know how to explain it.
ReplyDeleteYour defining unity I believe there and this is where I understand you wholeheatedly. It's all coming together to do
ReplyDeletegood measures. I think that is what you mean.
Yes
ReplyDeleteYou know if there was a good writer as my fingers start to go at a certain point but there is
ReplyDeletea tremendous write or poem within this. Just my thoughts Nance.
