I thought that I would go back into, "now and then". Each picture has it's own
meaning. As well as some actually I laugh when I look back at them as some are rather funny.
I loved or more appropriately I love the pictures that I have rendered. There are some that I have never posted and then there are some that I have. Within the creativity. I never thought that I would be as one would say - into taking pictures.
Yet each picture has it's own merit. This array spans time as well as spans several places here on this very earth. What I find most captivating is what I was thinking at the time of the picture now. As I look at them from a different view.
Yet there are some that I really have to laugh at. They are my own but the story that goes along with obtain a few captures. Well as the saying goes, "there is a story behind every pictures." So probably so.
Sure there are some conceptual. Yet then there are some that I have never posted. I love photography. Yet I don't thrive on it right now. But I do enjoy it when I do it.
Ten years ago if you asked me what I would love to do - my response would be to be a photographer. If you asked the same question 15 years ago I think I would say the very same.
It's all in the " take ".

ReplyDeleteLoved this one. The pensive mood.
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful photo. It looks to be taken in the sixties. My husband and his wife did the same. Hid dad was from India and he was supposed to marry an Indian woman. An arranged marriage. But, he married my husband's mom instead.
ReplyDeleteShe was a white woman from England. While my husband's dad was alive they moved around a lot. After he died my husband's mom went back to England to live with my husband's sister.
My husband's dad was in the merchant navy and traveled a lot.
Fortunately, for me they had lived in Toronto for some time and my husband had made most of his friends here and not somewhere else.
That was how I got to meet him.
:)

ReplyDeleteIt was and within the states, my mom is in the white and these were during times where you were not suppose to merge with other colours.
ReplyDeleteMy father never bought into it. He took the picture and the these people still keep in touch with them. Ironic but not a hoax.
I didn't travel that much as by the time I was around my father went on into another area of the military so I was never a "military brat" you know
the ones that live on base. I never lived that life. Yet what I like most of all is that they integrated in the times where one didnt.
That does say something in my books. I am sure there were the likes of others.
Neat story you have there Erika, I was away here for a little and just came back to this computer.
This was when I first arrived here. My father had been again hospitalized and there were these nuns. Here in Saskatoon.
ReplyDeleteLater on I came to know they were ukranian orthodox nuns. I didnt know them till I was en route to flying out of town and
then the head nun told me their story and it was something much more - I would have never thought as they were advocates.
My cousins' sons they play lacrosse and ironically both had mishaps
ReplyDeleteat the very same time. Now two twins and both in crutches. That was

ReplyDeleteThe designated, CO of the second largest ammunitions within Canada. I would but it's best not to say where this is. A decent person. I had the opportunity to talk with. But there was no way no manner one would be able to go and view and take a picture of all that was held half underground and half above ground. Ironically half an hour away and he has been to more countries as a peacekeeper.
