The Dedicated One

The Dedicated One

Focusing on what I am
And what I could be
It’s not about my nationality
I have trained
Minutes, days and hours
No time to waste
As the countless times
Placed into this

My power is rooted
Within my dedication
Inspired from early days
Rooted deeply within

A definition of my standing
Is only of which I will know
Now this is the time
From which I have trained
My dream shall come true

Certainly I desire the gold
But to compete is what I behold
For no one knows the dedication
All within my aspiration
I am not one, nor two people
Or three
But I am one whole
To fulfill the dream

  6. Competing with a desire to win the gold is the most motivation a player could inculcate in his/her mind to do his best. Great poem. smiles*

  9. I see that there is women's curling on right now, but last night I just felt like writing this as it encompassed on of
my own writes when I was a teenager amended with regards to the olympic, I have to say I really thought over so many
different thoughts, I would have loved a capture of a face but it's not about perfection, it's just creativity. With regards
to what one does to become...
