Good Morning

Well I know a place that got and is getting Snow already and it's in a place called Regina, Saskatchewan but here in Alberta thanfully we are not getting that. So today is a holiday monday. And I have a small little friend that is here with me. His name is Axile. He will be staying for a few days. And hey it's been some time since having a dog around. So this guy is rather fun.

He is a little shy of me but if there is food around he loves ya.

So sipping on a coffee and just taking it easy while this little guy gets used to me and I with him. I already let him out and he was not to cold to do his thing...:) Maybe we shall go for a walk pending on how things go burt for now. I am just glad it did not snow!

As you can see the monkey is pacing...but he likes me when I have his food. I am just thinking of the old movie with Peter Sellers. He goes to the Hotel clerk and asks if a dog that is in the hotel bites. It goes like this:

Inspector C: Does your dog byyyte?

Clerk: No...

So Inspector Cuseau (misspelled) goes towards the dog and attempt to pet the dog and he nearly gets his hand taken off. He rushes back to the clerk which is an old man and is panting and ask....

Inspector C: I thought you SAID YOUR DOG DOES NOT BYYYTE!!!!

Clerk: Well that is not my dog...

  1. I see you have him as the table centerpiece. *L* He's a cutey and I'm sure you two will get along just fine. If he had to be let out here this morning, we'd have had to make snow shoes for him. :-) To tell the truth, I think this snow will melt away. Fingers crossed........

    "My dog's got no nose."
"Oh really. How does he smell?"
    "Terrible!"

  10. Yes at first he gave me the "grrr", but you pull out the "treats" and slowly but surely he comes to be a best friend. And he has yet to be the dog that has done the "byyyyyte". :)

  12. Money will buy you a pretty good dog, but it won't buy the wag of his tail."

Axile is a very cute dog. I hope you enjoy your walk with him later in the day. I have a rat terrier named Sidney and she is 8 years old and very spoiled.
I am from Indiana now and was just visiting in West Virginia for my family reunion.
I hate to have to hear any of us talking about snow yet. I know it is time but I'm not. It was 86 here yesterday and very nice again today but we are headed for cooler weather towards the end of the week.
Thank you for inviting me to be a friend and I will see you around.

  15. Hi Denise well it's not morning no more but I never thought about a centre piece - however come to think of it, I could tell the owner that "the dog disappeared and call the dog police" :), and maybe I might keep the lad! :)

  16. I like that quote, as it is true. Well it's been a great day me and Axile and he is just doing his thing. It's not typical from my area that we get snow at all in fact usually snow comes in all the major cities during the last week of the month. Were you are - you have a full four seasons and that is just something grand. Your most welcome, you seem like a very nice person and I will say that I to take into consideration whom I have on as a contact - as I do. I find that there are mature people and it all shows within the write. Too and Fro...

  17. I am not sure if you ever saw the movie "It does not get better than this" with Jack Nickolis, well in some way I can relate with this movie :), but I don't write books or novels on romance....

  20. You have a great mission going on cyn, I can't say how or what I think of it as it's something that you do in a very valid and righteous way. Just wished to mention as I think that you are something in what you write on. As far as the dog well he is sleeping right now and I was thinking of something to write here at 9:00pm. But if I don't that is fine but the one very thing that we all have in common are the things that make life of worth. It can be Axile, work, the Thanks Giving that we celebrate in October ------------but it's about the authenticity and creativity of each and everyone of us.
