Today has been a very productive day. I know that things always change. Each one of us has changes which take place. Some days may be less productive than the last but it's all within how we do things. But they change.
For myself it seems that all things are working out fine. And I don't get so caught up with everything. Each evening when I get on here I know there is something large or small that I wish to share in some manner.
I had books that are now in storage that have been passed on to me, as well it's so interesting with you can do a search and find some of these things and post them. I miss the old newspaper that I had in the city I lived in before as at the very top of section C, there was Quote of the Day.
And I found them so interesting and I thought they were found from the internet but no, I think a few that worked in the department of the new paper actually would get together and come up with some quotes. But here are a few I've compiled a few samples from “authors unknown” so I don’t infringe any copyright. “Nothing you know is worth anything if you don’t know how to be proud of yourself”. “Remember, if you try to go it alone, then the fence that shuts others out, shuts you in”. “Clutter is the same thing as junk. It just has a home”. “A friend not in need is a friend indeed”. “If you can only find it, there is a reason for everything”. “It’s loving and giving that make life worth living”. “Making the most out of other people’s strengths and the least of their weaknesses is a surefire formula for managerial success”. “You don’t need to be sick to get better”. “No matter how you used yesterday, you received 24 hours today”. “The kindness we resolve to show tomorrow cures no headache today”. “Success is going from failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm”. “If it were not for hope, the heart would break”. “Live every day as if it were your last. Treat everybody else as if they were you”.
And then I think some of us do come up with out own quotes. But regardless, we write in our own manner as a leisurely activity and sometimes we have some from which we recall. My own favorites that are my own are these two... "Acceptance is the key for the things you can't control, and "It does not matter where you come from nor where your born, all that matters is where your head is at". Yeah those are probably the two of my own that I like.
I took this picture on the way home and I don’t have much of a zoom on my camera to allow me to get the vantage of what I see, but there is a new road being built near my place and it ends, as they are in the midst of making a new roadway that will lead onto the highway. And I am not sure what it brings to mind, perhaps "the road that never ended" or "when you start a job remember to finish it".I am not sure but it's fun to read and write. How some of these old sayings came about I often ponder where and when they came from. Those sayings from common people and who know maybe a farmer was on his land and was thinking while he was taking off his crop.
Just love those old quotes Jack, also the pic of the never ending road- I think the *when you start a job remember to finish it* quote fits it to a tee .Thanks for sharing them. XX

ReplyDeleteAll is well on that end and they did :), and I have never heard that one. Gives a new slant on from where we motivate or vision where we go. And yet at the same time I am thinking about that little lamb of yours understanding only one thing - Wendy's voice = Milk! :)
