Cows Start The Day By Saying.....

Moooooooo

So this is my new agenda, last night sure as guns after I was home I laid down and was up for two hours as I was beat. Right now I am in a training phase.  So I am glad this is going the way it has. I could have taken another position that required shift work but I like this and when it comes to Airports within large cities literally they never go to bed.

So here I am with my cup of coffee half and half and I am just about to prepare something for my breakfast and as well believe it or not I have things in the wash. From where I live it takes me nearly 30 minutes maybe a bit shorter to get to the Airport, but it’s all on what is called the Number Two Highway and it’s a fast one and there bumper to bumper situations going on, as the speed limit is 110, so it’s nice.

Oh yeah the mirror well there is a store here that took me for a wild goose chase after I paid for the a car part for my car and they were supposed to have it done on or before two. I ended up getting escorted back home and then I had to pay for a taxi to get back there. Hmmm, they say the customer comes first.

For now I say the coffee come first and there after work. I hope to see you all soon and as well the cows are not out yet – but the planes are. And they go 24 hours a day. I am so glad I am with a international company and most of all older people than I that have been around this for some time. There are a few that are around my same age but right now the person that is training me on there computer systems along with another on other areas is are both really good people.

They say as long as it takes, you don't have to worry about knowing everything fast, and ask all the questions that you want. Well that is a change! Secondly, we have what are called briefings at 11 each and every morning just so that everyone is on the same page and we all know what is going on for the day as well as in the future. Right now I am just taking it all in.

For now, over this weekend I need a quilt, a heating blanket – the other one I had does not seem to be working as well.
Thus far my legs are doing fine. Certainly they ache when I get home, but I think the best thing is to just lay back ----------------- well everything ached yesterday! And I still have my membership to the gym, what I need is just a massage each and every day, or at least a nice whirlpool that is nearby but for now the tub does wonders.

But it’s morning and I love that one and a half hours before you have to get ready, so I thought I would write this. Good morning and either it’s tea or it’s coffee but enjoy that little time you have before your off to it!

I see within just a few weeks there will be a new President. On the other hand soon enough there will be sn..........(don't say the word it's not supposed to sn.....- till after Halloween). Oh how will urn for the green grass and many of you are within that climate area...one of thes days I will get to a warmer climate yesterday as I while coming home I ran into this retired man and his wife at the grocery store and they were on there way to Arizona for the winter....MUST BE NICE!

How time flys....

  2. It rained here yesterday. All the snow we had is gone. Last night it didn't freeze so the weather is hanging in there. Two of my sisters and me will be flying out of the Edmonton airport headed for Cuba on Feb. 5. Good luck with your new job!!

  3. Cow hour is a bit early for me. I'm glad to hear work is going well and that you're taking advantage of a bit of spare time early in the morning. It's getting colder here but we haven't seen any "white stuff" yet. If I remember correctly, there was snow on the ground last year here on Halloween night. Take care. Have a great day.

  8. Yes it is however I have unexpected guest tonight so I have heard from a friend of mine that is here, but has not been here for the past three days. Communication is a good thing, and sometimes some don't communicate. So, I am up early and I don't know them that well, they are his parents and we shall see how this one goes.
But with work it's been going very well. And I thank you Bev.

When there is a chance to do something - then something comes up - seems that is the way it is sometimes. Oh well, I don't know why one could not communicate prior to this. But that is his way and so be it...
    Thank you Bev.

  12. Thank you as they are. And thank you Nancy, I am happy - I can't wait for the weekend as today was a physical one and within the winter or for that matter my legs do bother me but this is something that I will work about with slowly.
But happiness is a warm electrical blanket to jump into after supper and have a good half hour nap! :)

  13. I don't know how he is as when it came down when I obtained this job that I said to myself that for two weeks I am going to just do what I need to do and all other things can wait. Each one of us has the choice in life to either do or don't do. Yet at the same time I know there are people that do need compassion, I have done it so many times, but for myself right now - it's my own trail for a while and time leverage with what I am able to do...

  14. I am not excited, actually there is so much going on that now I am starting to understand all the codes and merging with this team. And then there was some physical things much more today and as not too the same extent as my knees but lets just say this. On this weekend I have to fill up the fridge and as well I am taking in TV dinners (X2) for lunch! It's not 30 degrees here but I have an electrical sleeping blanket if that counts. :)
