Within

I just arrived back from a class of what I have done since I was the age of 13. This was the first evening that I took part of a smaller dojo here that is called an Art called Aikido. It's not a typical martial art it's more of a passive one which I started and went on to teach for the last twenty years.

I have always kept in contact with my first teacher that came from Burma, then thereafter I went on to teach at the age of 17 here in Canada and within the way of Aikido. Which is not anything comparable to any other Martial Art - it literally is with the flow.

Tonight I headed down to a class and to ironic it was as they all knew whom I was - as I have been in several articles and as well have wrote literature based on what is within the way of Aikido. It's all about harmony.

I never place out too much but within it all this was a very fortunate evening for me. I can't begin to elaborate on it but it's part of my root's of a child that was place into a art form and went on to be what is called a shihan.

You may wish to google what Aikido is about the humbu original style within all that it's been a great evening to say the least. This is my time and I am going to write a little in my own way "do"...

  4. I have done and taught it for some 20 years to the police forces, military and the roots of it when I started teaching were with common people as there is not one person that
is above anyone. I am looking forward to this weekend as I will be meeting up with a person I knew when I was a kid ....we shall see how much we have grown.

  5. No many people stick with a passtime as long as you have. It is good to keep improving instead of giving up and moving on to something else.

  6. Karyn I am going to write on this some more tonight as I have held off on writing so much and it's all within good taste and not within a selfish manner.
I have two long standing faiths and then areas that have encompassed my life.

  7. Heh Jack. Here's something that might interest you. It appears you enjoy writing, which is another way of speaking. I ran across an article a while back concerning the reason Homo Sapiens made it, and Neanderthals didn't. Brain sizes for both are about the same, so it didn't have much to do with Homo Sapiens having a bigger brain, or anything like that. It appears that the Neanderthals had limited speech capabilities as evidence by the morphology of their throats. Homo Sapiens had a much wider range of sound, or speech capabilities, which led to greater expression.

Thanks for expressing yourself, and for the elegance which makes us human.

    Steve.

  8. The best expession is within the communication of all realms of a person. But within a blog this is the way that most of us do express by way of writing.
We live within an area of life that there are two spheres but I am old school as I do believe in the thoughts that everyone writes but at the same time there is at any moment
a computer could be taken away and I would not be challenged - nor would you.

  11. Thanks. It's just a small grain of sand now. With luck, perhaps it will turn into a pearl. We'll just wait and see what happens...who knows...maybe Jack will be driving around in a Jag someday...LOL
