Every city has navigation antennas as such that provide a marker as such so that planes that are airborne know where they are. It's allows them to navigate in a manner during turbulent weather. This one was a new one that had recently been placed up I noticed it yesterday.
In some ways we all have "inner markers" as such. Maybe it's more like an inner compass that affords each person to navigate there way through the things within life. It was interesting as I went and got take out for this evening. While I was driving down I thought I would take the picture.
Rather deep for a Saturday, it is what it is.
too bad some have markers that are way off course, LOL!
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I must say my personal marker is pretty much "right on" most of the time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a way to let us understand Jack. Yes, each of us has that inner marker to guide us through. But sadly most of the time ... some missed it, and choose otherwise ...
ReplyDelete..and do they have warning lights --for low flying aircraft ..
ReplyDeleteas I maneuver my aircraft inline with the outer marker to hit the glide path I look ahead to make sure all my checklists are covered by the time I hit that inner marker and have to commit to the landing..
ReplyDeletegood metaphor..
I had seen it earlier and I was thinking after I noticed it and then was writing as yeah it's something that is there in place within every city as well on the outskirts and when I say this new one I was thinking of "inner compass" for some reason.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful blog! I live near the airport an was thinking of some cool pictures there. Hope you have a pleasant evening xx
ReplyDeleteI worked in them and just got home here and earlier when I posted it I literally took it while I was going coming home earlier ...
ReplyDeleteI was thinking more of what this is in another way .....but thank you. Had a great eve with some friends and just arrived home here now and
Cinn what comes to mind is "Inner Compass" it still sticks with me. Thanks as just logged on and well it's coming up to 9pm here.
Almost ten here an I like to think of it as intuition! There is the centre core of physical, mental, and spiritual. That inner holistic approach is necessary to find balance an peace. Quarter to ten here!
ReplyDeleteLiterally that is how I have lived my life from ..............literally for a very very long time.
ReplyDeleteAs it's seems with you Cinn. Gosh I am going out on a limb here but where or what inspired the balance?
Listening to the elderly..... Balance is hard to maintain but its worth striving towards peace.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many things that a person does and I literally find that balance is the key. I literally do.
ReplyDeleteI am not being a narcissist but as a kid I first started with a art called Aikido and I am just a regular
person but I do believe that everyone has that centre/center - and the philosophy of it for me is much
similar to what you just wrote here. Literally. It's all within harmony and cadence which I tend to write
so often about but balance is really a foundation - this took me very much by surprise there Cinn....
In nursing you are taught to be holistic an there are some martial arts here that are framed on these concepts as well. If you are in pallative care then you learn to embrace this understanding more than currative. Of course, its bound to have alternative perspectives
ReplyDeleteMy first sensei was a chemist and then at the age of 45 he made a change and went back to university and became a doctor and
ReplyDeletepractices in Cinncinati....he name is Ariff Mentor.
As well, within my family I have seen things that I think I would have fallen a long time ago if I had not had that mentality.
It's all within perspectives as I see it.
I could ask so many questions and exchanges...
The funny part is I learned kick boxing not karate at the karate studio. Lol
ReplyDeleteLove the analogy... All of us Have it, only some of us Use it.
ReplyDeleteSensai did incorporate self defense an yes some karate lol
ReplyDeleteWe all do....I just arrived home tonight and this literally is where I do believe within this...
ReplyDeleteSome do some don't but I literally love the philosophy of it all. I know I am not perfect
but I know where my center is if that makes sence...
I have never studied or taught anything but Aikido...it's a passive art...
ReplyDeleteBut Ariff was is a man to this very day I keep in contact with.
..I agree with the holistic approach -too,,cin :)
ReplyDeleteI read this post after some of your more recent ones.
ReplyDeleteWe have an inner compass but we can orient it, we can tune in to different frequencies.
yes I believe so DJ...
ReplyDeleteMy frequency this morning was wake up and be lazy and have a coffee! :)
