I know that I am on here each and every eve, but in no manner do I feel that I am on a roll. As mention there it's a time that I am just doing what I enjoy doing. I certainly could be watching television right now but all the reality shows just really don't do it for me.
The weather here has been great and it's cooler here right now as it cold but yet this is the first in sometime in this part of Canada that I have seen it where there is no snow. The weekends seem to be those time that you get things done - while doing them you enjoy the meeting up with people. I have to admit I love going and buying groceries. You meet such a variety of people and while your waiting in line, you have such an array of people that you will strike up a conversation.
Today was one of those days where most were still in bed but I headed out and it was cold at -11c to say the least one has to climatize to the change and everyone I came across was wearing a cap of some sort. Seemingly most people just relax and enjoy the time and get on with things around 10am if not later. I met up later on with my cousin, she is going through her problems again. Seemingly, she married a man two years ago that is ten years older than herself. She seems to never to be happy with things where at a certain time I will talk about other things but she keeps on going on and on. I know there is always two sides to every story so I just stay clear of it. They have come to some situation where she has here own time to do her own life while he has his. If you ask me it sounds like divorce is around the corner.
I enjoyed it when she was single and we had a great time when we would get together. Oh well, marriage it's something that everyone seems to want yet at the same time I feel comfortable when it comes down to stories like these.
There is a large difference between being alone and being lonely. I know I wrote about this before but I am comfortable with things right now certainly they have room for improvement all things considered they seem to be fine with me.
For myself, I am not a big television fan but within the evening there really isn't that many good shows on. However that all said I do have a few that I enjoy some of which are the Joy Behar show, the Mentalist, the Bavo Channel and a few others. As far as the reality shows. I have never been into them since they started. It seems to be a trend but for the life of me I can't get into watching someone place there entire life on television besides that - I think more than 50 percent of it is all fabricated. Last but not least - I enjoy a series called, the Passionate Eye, it's a Canadian series of episodes of a wide variety of subjects.
So right now the writings I enjoy it's a thing I just find to be of interest and I probably write much more but I enjoy it. As the nights are becoming much longer till December 21st and then it's back to longer days.
Interesting enough when it come to the news I love unbiased reporting and last week Lou Dobbs was relieved of his position on CNN. I enjoy Larry but as he has been with us all for so long that you can't help but enjoying whom he has on his show. But I am not that big on television it's usually something that I will watch into the night.
So it's just a simple Saturday and enjoyable within it's own way.
we had beautiful weather here today, quite warm and sunny. Tomorrow may not be as sunny but should still be nice. Last year at this time we were already getting snow. I'm hoping we won't see any until December this year. I spent a good part of my day working on some pics I took for a couple of high school seniors.
ReplyDeletebeautiful photo! I hope this means you're feeling better. I understand about the lonley vs alone. I've lived alone for the last 2 1/2 yrs and though it was my choice, it's still tough. The nights are the worst, and tv can help. The Mentalist is one of my favorites too, if I can stay up that late lol. take care and enjoy the rest of the weekend!
ReplyDeleteOne can't complain with the weather hear right now as it's really all too nice. The weather seems to be much different as last year we literally had the worst or hardest winter in 100 years.
ReplyDeleteYou can't beat it when it stays like this. Pictures are great as I was just looking at your array GG.
I am content as there has been much done since I had this accident and I enjoy the eves and writing. The mentalist is just interesting and it's great, and I am feeling good, and truly enjoying this within my own manner. Saturdays are those do as you please days, since this accident I have had much on my plate but not one to complain as it could be worse - I just look forward now to having all thing put into place as last week it all worked out very well.
ReplyDeleteAnd great one to you as well.
We had a first blizzard so it is hard raking leaves with a skiff of snow. That's a good excuse to wait, in case it melts. We went grocery shopping in sunshine and came home in a blizzard. It shocked us a bit as it has been so sunny. I loathe all those unreality shows and things like survivor. They are all phonier than wrestling. But I have lots of friends who enjoy them so I hold my comments. They don't enjoy bird-watching but listen to my EXCITING sightings.
ReplyDeleteWell that is going to travel this way from BC to here in Saskatchewan. That is the first I have heard of a storm happening yet.
ReplyDeleteThe winter clothes are ready....it's always a story that you have there at the end of the day.
bbbrrrr!!! it's cold up there by you! we've warmed up since two weekends ago....today was 56 degrees outside, and last weekend it was in the upper 60's...wish it would have been that warm on the 31st of October as my daughter was married outside on that day! so you like to go grocery shopping huh? I just hate the bill in the end....seems like everything is so darned expensive and you didn't think you bought that much in the first place! I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow as I didn't get that done today. I was up late last night after sleeping a few hours during the day and then was caught up online talking with a friend in Australia. I don't watch tv at all now, because I don't have the service for it, but...even when I did have the service...I hardly ever watched it. Most likely because of the hours I do work and when I come home in the mornings I come on here and see what is up. Tonight I went with my daughter and son and their boyfriend and girlfriend to go see that movie "Paranormal Activity". OMG, it was pretty good is all I will say. Yep, I screamed a few times and the ending was creepy! I still want to go see the movie "2012" and "The Fourth Kind"...which is what we were going to see, but at the last minute changed our minds to see Paranormal Activity.
ReplyDeleteThe photo is beautiful of the setting sun. It seems late so much earlier with the changing seasons. It starts to get a little dark already at 5:30 PM.
ReplyDeleteGoodnight all the best with the new week.
Yeah I just went outside and it's a bit chilly....
ReplyDeleteYeah it's the same here, and thanks as Monday shall be back to it and seeing all that happens with my car.
Good night Cheryl,
We will see what tomorrow brings weather wise. Well most all of my things are taken care of as I did most of it all this morning and now I just placed the coffee on as mornings are the best part of the day Suzy. It's been beautiful and I was just writing to a friend that is in British Colombia and this afternoon they just had there first snow fall.
ReplyDeleteThat's enough activity for me :)
so it is morning time right now for you? I still have to look at a map to see where you are, lol. Good morning to you! it is night time here and is going on 10pm....20 minutes to ten. I have to get to bed earlier tonight...I was up until 3am last night! Tomorrow I am back to work at 11pm.........the weekends go by too quickly that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteNo it's just 10pm.....they do go fast it come to five and you look back and see all that one has done and well it's all within a day.
ReplyDeleteI am heading of to bed and taking in a movie and best wishes there Suzie..
good night to you, sleep well!
ReplyDeleteDidn't you have snow already though?
ReplyDeleteYou have provided a different outlook on grocery shopping. I often feel an overwhelming depressive energy in the grocery store. Of course, I can always choose to radiate a different one. :-)
We don't have a TV. So I only catch glimpses of it when we are elsewhere and I am happy with our decision.
I think it is good for each partner within a couple to have time to themselves. All must be worked out within the couple.
Happy morning Jack!
ReplyDeleteGood morning DJ, we did and it came in late August for two days and then it warmed up.....the summer wa atypical....
ReplyDeleteAnd the same to you Tess.
ReplyDeletesnow in August? omg.....that's AWFUL!!!
ReplyDeletewe don't watch tv at our house except for dvds; we can read anything truly newsworthy!
ReplyDeleteThere are some things I do like and some that are worth. Yet the ordinary news and so forth is rather all ..........what is the word for it lol. Mundane.....yet I watched something last night but it's this show called "The Hour" and it's a tremendous show that comes on every night from Toronto. But I am not a big television persons except for a few shows....just much like you.
