Weather

It's been so unpredictable and I have never really just enjoy staying home for a day. Believe it or not this morning and right through to the afternoon we had snow. Now there are many different areas within Canada and I have placed away all those winter clothes but I have never in my entire live see this happen.

Last night with the topic that really brought about something in a very nice manner, and with all that I thank you.

What is the word a few words for today - VERY COLD, SNOWING, NOT NORMAL....

  3. Actually this is the first time I have literally just stopped and enjoyed the time - but I would rather be looking at Palm Trees Rosie. Looking at it all it's very different but I am enjoying my time just writing within the study here.

  4. WOOOOW what a wonderful voice you have Jack.
Today we were talking with my friend's mother in law and she said on May 10th in 1938 it snowed here in Ankara. About 20 years ago I remeber it snowed on April 23rd.
    Enjoy your snowy afternoon.

  7. The hard part about the weather is that it was a very long cold winter beginning in early November without much of a break anywhere. Temperatures below normal all winter. And now, even though the snow is gone and we are having some warm days, the farmers are behind putting in their crops and everything is slow to green. The furnace shouldn't be running anymore. *L* Even though the temps can be warm, the wind is cold. We're still getting that northern downdraft. The warm winds aren't moving in from the southwest yet. Blame it on the US. *L* Fishing season kicks in on the 1st of May. I've never before seen the lake still full of ice on May 1. Last weekend, there were still ice flows. It didn't snow here today. Hah!!

  10. Wrenny this was a day as I went out in it and there is no snow now but it's wet and really this has not been the norm. This winter really was something that was different right across all of Canada - when you take into consideration all the different parts of it.

LOL reading part of your rep-once - you kill me :)......It will change maybe this year we will get that one month all in one deal. Who knows. So I have not look (dare I) a the temperature for tomorrow, regardless I will think it's summer even if it's frigid!

  11. Oh Fran it happened.....but it did not stay but the temperatures are not what they normally would be at this time of the year. Not at all, this should be a time where you can have shorts for the evening. I think it was warmer ........I could carry on but I will stop. It's just be very unusual to say the least.

  14. Two storms passed over my country last week. One hit the northern regions and the other hit the southern region below ours. Our area was spared. We only got rains but not too strong. Years ago, a big storm passed over us and tore off part of the roof.
