Yes, it's a vantage smiling there is a story behind me and calling my pictures vantages! And you would laugh at what you have to do to get some of these lol....smiling Danni.
It's going to be torn down this summer for an entirely new one and a highway to go with it. So I thought I would get a few shots of it. I kid you not there was a train coming I have the video on here but NOT GONNA DO IT!
I ran yes at a point I had to run as I was in a restricted area....and the red lights went off and I then could see that there was a train going to be en route shortly! Makes for a good cardio session :)
I don't know the name of this horse it nearly ate my thumb but these are racing horses and trained with jockeys and the owner and is wife allowed me to take a few pictures.
I have rode not these but this was right on what is called Marquis Downs. It's right in the center or the track Jim. I ended up there only by coincidence as it was near this bridge and tonight was there seasonal opening. I never got into wagering on horses or anything of this kind but when I saw one jockey with a horse when I was driving by I could not help myself. However the training session was over.
In one hour it starts and it's about 40 if that miles from here. I will get a night shot in the future.
Thank you I like the vantage of it and these were all taken this morning so it was nice, I love picture I do belong to a great photographic group but I just figured that today I was going to do my own thing with the camera.... It's starting to come - spring that is! Or maybe it's already here according to the weatherman :)
They were watching me and I knew I could only get so close! Then on the other side there was a train coming I think they knew it and they teased me to get the picture and when I looked after they flew off - here was coming a train! Not kidding :)
Lulu these are very well trained horses they travel all over within Canada and the US. Not all but this one in particular had with the tour of this type of horse racing. I think so yes :) They are athletes really...
This particular day was right after some serious matters within my family and all was fine and this literally was where the first day of spring began Karyn.
