Mother's Day Part 2

Another topic perhaps.  Some of the things within my private life by choice I wish to keep private and one of which is with regards to my folks.  Tomorrow is mothers day and I don’t place that much weight into it for reasons that are my own within the manner in which things have seem to be with my family but I have got something for my mother and I think that it’s going to be a “keep it simple” Mother’s Day here.

However I do care about my mother and the manner that things are I know that there is nothing that I can do and there are some things you just have to accept.  So for myself I think it’s going to be a simple time without anything much.

For myself as a son I have always been able to relate to my mother and at the same time I have done the things that are necessary for her during all the times that she has required me.  She has been through much and yet she keeps on going and in a small special way I have a gift for her and she raised me and now she is at a time where with the things that have taken place over the years you know that they have taken a toll on here but the great gift that she has is the relatives that call her each and every day.

Anyways...

  3. My Mother is of an age now that she wants nothing for any special day save maybe a card... She is sending me all of the things she has acquired throughout the years so that there will be the bare necessities when the time comes... So every holiday I receive what was hers that she doesn't wear or read anymore, or what was my Great Grandmothers or Grandmothers... It becomes a tearful happy day for me, but sad in a way, knowing the time is getting shorter for her... That's the way she wants it, so I just accept it, and love her and thank her for her heartfelt gifts. Every family is different, mine is a tad strange..lol, but that's okay, it works... ((Hugs)) my friend

  4. Yes it is....however I find that things have been very hard with all things conisidered. But I walk my own line and I am not sure if it's denial to get on with other things as it's been something over the past month. I know that she has is pulled in so many areas and I just realize that best things is to move in my own direction.

    Yeah...

  5. This is just like mine Peeks. And then I have a father and sister that cling to her and I did not expect this at this time but as you say every family is different. Hugs back....to you...I would much prefer to write on other things as to talk too much within ones own family - I think is something that is only something that you do with those that you do render and have some trust. In life as well as online.
