Sunday Ramble

We all write in our own way.  For myself I will turn off the computer at times and go outside and look up in the sky.  I don't know for some reason I have done that so often since I have been blogging.

The hardest things with blogging are time zones.  At least I find it this way.  All that being said, I was out the other two night and there was the moon, however I did not bother taking my camera out as I knew that on that day I had already taken some pictures and I just wished to write.  I so often this and something just comes about.  I will take into account all the things of the day and then bring it all together in some fashion.  I gazed out to the left horizon and I was going to take a picture but I knew I did not have that zoom lens.

I find that the there is something to just sitting back now at night and just taking in the evening to some extent.  Getting into that flow sometimes is something that takes that something to get into the flow.  Now I don’t have the greatest camera in the world and thereafter I had asked a friend from South Africa if I could have the moon she had taken as it was hers and she certainly had a zoom that really blew me away.  There is something to writing at night and enjoying something that you shared.

And here we are doing the same thing again but I thought it was worth mention as how the earth revolves around the moon and it really does effect and have an impact on our mother earth.  As I gazed up there and saw the moon I knew that this was really almost in the same time, but yet in accordance to how the sun was revolving around the moon.  I have said this before if there is one thing that we do share regardless of where we reside it’s the moon and the stars as well as the morning sun.

When it really comes down to it we are rather small in so many ways within this universe.

  1. We all gaze at that same moon, don't we Jack? No matter where we are on the big blue marble--we're all looking at that same beautiful orb. Makes me feel more connected to think of all of us out enjoying the full moon's light...yes, as you say "sharing" the flow of life.

  3. Some times looking at the moon is like looking into your soul. No honking horns, no bright lights, just you and your own thoughts. Have a great week my friend.

  4. A moment of peace, a little to reflect...often works for me. I remember this pic from PP. It's one of the best moon shots I've ever seen.

    Wonderful post.

  9. Indeed and it's a time here that is making that transition with coming within that time where you can sit out and enjoy it within the evening.
