Picture Perfect - Spooky

I am a member of this group called Picture Perfect that I am still getting used to and this is my submission with regards to this weeks theme.

I went into the Subway system and as it was a Sunday

I decided to walk into the tunnel to get a picture.

As I could here the subway train coming I walked

out of there rather fast as I knew the train was

some distance away but yet it was something that

I made a promise to myself that I would

never do anything of this nature again as I was

spooked as well as a friend thought I was

crazy in trying to get the picture.

This picture was taken in Edmonton one year ago.

As well there is this:

  7. nice shot...but it does seem a bit dangerous. My mother was always afraid of "getting stuck on the railroad tracks" in the car and such. She almost didnt want to cross railroad tracks..I can that no problem, but not sure if I would go into a tunnel or not....

  16. Yeah and knowing when to get the heck out but I was not that far within it but I thought it would fit the theme of the PP group. Yours did as it was taken within the night and spooky is something that usually is like that in a way...Thanks Wulfie.

  18. Well that city in particular has went through some drastic changes in the last six months as before it has always been one city in Canada that was one of the main producers with the big oil boom. I have never seen a city in Canada that was of the likes when it did come to a continual 24 hour shift of workers on this subway along with other areas of infrastructure. It's the one of the largest cities in Canada but the very different in the manner that it's the farthest north.

  28. That is very eerie. I can imagine how it must have felt with the smell of the tunnel in the air and perhaps feeling wind rushing past with oncoming trains. I grew up in London and would never have dared to walk through a tunnel in one of the undergrounds (would probably have been arrested if I had)

  30. Hi Jack, if you open this to "everyone" more people will be able to see it. Anyone not on your network is blocked and can't see it.
