NATURAL PASSAGES....

NATURAL PASSAGES I

Some of the best thoughts and ideas come to us in various manners as well as places. For some it’s that certain time within the day where we all sit down, take our time and just go with the flow. I am talking about that item and it’s not a chair, it’s not the floor. It’s placed in a smaller room within a home and I think you know what I am talking about.

It’s the "squatter" or the toilet. And for each and everyone we do find some precious time to do more things than one. How one item can bring about such comfort and though. I guess you would call it self time and then some. Kudos to the person whom invented the toilet as so often I have gazed at toilet paper and said to myself, "Wow, that is toilet paper and I never really thought nor expressed how much I have thought while sitting…. and just thinking how I take for granted the toilet bowel. But then again I don’t know sometimes if I appreciate how much toilet paper I have.

"Education is so important when it comes to domesticity. I don’t’ know why no one ever thought to past a label on the toilet tissue spindle and giving 1 – 2 and 3 directions for replacing the tissue in it. Then everyone in the house would know what Mama Knows." ~ Emma Bombeck

" I don’t know if I want to fuss over my cover on my toilet seat, but I want to meet whoever invented them. Who lifted a toilet
seat and thought, ‘that needs a hat?’" ~ Rita Rudner

" I am sitting in the smallest room of my house. I have your review before me. Soon it will be behind me." ~ Max Reger

" Men are never so serious thoughtful, and intent, as when they are at the stool." ~ Jonathan Swift

" I grew up with six sisters. That’s how I learned to dance. Waiting for the bathroom." ~ Unknown

" I found out when I was younger why cats and dogs drink out of the toilet. My mother told me it’s because it’s
cold in there. And I’m like: ‘How did mother know that?’ " ~ Wendy Liebman

" Quote me as saying I was miss-quoted, but can you pass the toilet paper I need a new roll "~ Unknown.

In life we do have real bumpy roads at times. Bumpy indeed. What I find is that is that developing good shock absorbers help things pass, in more ways than one. And when the tough gets going well - lets just say thank god for the Throne!

  1. Some of my best work is done while on the throne, at least while there I get something accomplished.

  5. Leave it to the woman to make sure there are extra rolls of toilet paper next to the toilet.

You men don't think of that until you look ...

I don't get too much inspiration there but I love all the phrases because they are so true!
Maybe when I am seated there and I think of many things I can just exclaim "Crap!" hahaha

  14. Perhaps we just sit and thing one more than just one thing. However we all use it. And sometimes one will say that but yet it is something that we all do. Unless the thrown is very needed, like very fast...:)

  16. Each day everyone on this planet uses this it might not look entirely the same pending where some would live, but it is something that we do share. Everywhere...

  17. Reminds me of my grandma's outdoor bathroom. It was a 3 seater, even had a small spot for the kids.
