She writes in here own manner and truly there is something to be said for one of this nature a friend that I have one here and really sums it all up in a meaninful manner.

ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of that happening right now, Jack. I've been reading many complaints on Multiply Support. Multiply Customer Service is aware and working on it. The best thing to do is what you're already doing ... delete.
Another weekend coming up very soon, make it a good one.
I personally feel that one can have friends that they just don't discuss politics or religion with, of course those relationships broke up over one or the other after a few weeks. LOL
ReplyDeleteyes, there have been a lot of spammers lately leaving comments on my poetry and photographs. It's annoying, but all you can do is delete it and go on. I find that when i go to delete them , Multiply has already taken care of it themselves, and I get a "does not exist" note. So they're really on the ball here, and I certainly appreciate that.

I guess I'm lucky. I haven't come across anyone of that nature, although I did read a comment on someone's story lately that I thought was pretty rude. of course it had nothing to do with me, but I reported it to the site administrator and let her handle it. The person that wrote the comment may have looked at it as constructive criticism, but I thought it was just poor manners.
I can't understand anyone purposely saying something that is going to offend someone.
Gossip I stay away from, and I make it a point not to repeat anything that is heard or said in a discomfiting way...in a way I'm happy I live in the country and I don't have to deal with a lot of people, in fact hardly any. Politics I know very little about, I know that times are hard and are getting worse in our country, and it seems as if very little is being done about it. I see a lot of little businesses that are going under, along with some major ones. I drove through Atlanta the other day and saw that the huge Ford company had not only been shut down, but torn down, leveled. It was a shock since so many from my home town depended on it for jobs. Unemployment is horrible here.
religion...I will share with anyone my faith, but I don't go around trying to cram it down others throats.
Now, relationships...that seems to be the going thing around here, doesn't it? it's like a big "Peyton Place"
Well Hell, we seen to agree on politics.. shall we try religion? I have no dueling sword, but I do have my pirate pistol. Does that give me a fair advantage? ;)
ReplyDeleterofl...no pistols, please. Ya know, I don't like talking about religion., because things always seem to go around in circles. People believe so many different things, and you have to respect that. I love people who stand up for what they believe in.
ReplyDeleteI do try to stay away from religions also.. I really don't believe in any organized religion.. Bill Johnson and I can talk because we have similar views..and he is an exceptionally smart man, besides he'd take my gun away.. LMAO
ReplyDeleteSome people are very easily offended. Some think it is impolite not to have the same opinion as they do or at least one should not be so rude as to say so. How anybody could learn anything that way, I don't know.
ReplyDeleteIts easy to talk anything to anyone as long as we have a Live and Let Live policy and understand that nothing that the other says is to be taken personally...Religion and Politics are topics that seem to rub a lot of people abrasively. The bottom line is that nothing has a right or a wrong, only what works for you.
ReplyDeleteAs for gossip, well the less said the better. Its best to stay away from it...Gossip dies if no one responds to it, its just a matter of keeping our lips sealed when its about someone else.

ReplyDeleteLadies and Gentlemen,Thanks for the comments, I have enjoyed reading them because most of them are actually how I feel about all four mentioned.There is the good, the bad, the ugly and the indifference,but that is what makes each of us different.When I think of loss of jobs, the unemployment rate,the housing foreclosures,children going hungry I shudder,oh year even the health care.Religion,I'm not opposed to any one's religion or faith,so long as they are not trying to shove it down my throat or the principles that I believe in.Relationships is a twofold matter that is between two people, that they must come to an agreement on way or the other.Gossip is something I stay away from,if I did not see it or was there when it happened, then I don't care to hear about it.I'm inclined to agree with the Apostle James "the Tongue is the deatest part of the body."I agree theres a right side/wrong side to any given subject,even when others tries to get you to see it their way.
ReplyDeleteI'm a country girl living in the city and yes there are times when I miss the quietness and I'm glad that where I live now, the only neighbors I see are those in passing,lol.I will speak to anyone whether they speak back,"country home training".There are others that say harsh words on thier sites about something they have read via posts,the news or whatever.To me that is not friendship,thats another form of gossip.I only express my thoughts when I do post but these are my true feeling and there is nothing like love and being honest with one's true self.
Finally, I'm glad that Multiply is deleting the spammers that has seem to invade our sites and groups and I saulte them them for this becaues it shows that they do have our concerns at heart.I believe in peace not war and trying to get along with everyboby regardless or who they are because the final thing is we are all Human with our own do's and don't.

ReplyDeleteIt's truly hard to find whome is what and what is said to be authentic...yet it seem to be more good than bad. I know I have deleted some people as Parrie had mentioned but It's something I find that there is always one whom can write and enjoy it and then some do otherwise. I love history and so on and sometimes as well just reading and reading as there are some tremendous stories

I always maintain it's like if all were sitting around at a table would they be the same - some would most definately and some would be otherwise.

You know I when I logged on here I literally just look and I really don't know the difference between a spammer as the other day when I logged on there was a unknown face. I clicked on it and then there was a face from someone from Russia...so who knows at times.

Literally that is how I feel Rashmi..and as far as the less said seems to need tact - but I am one to just write as I feel. There are pros and cons to that but it's an array of things.
