I literally did several things and it can be taxing on what we do. But at the same time just arrived home and from tending to things with my father and then to tending to the whole entire things of what I am doing with my own matters. All is now set and is done.
I just arrived home and it's been a day. Certainly, we all have those days that there is so many things that we do. But I must say that in attending to family matters it's on that I am very tired of tending too. As I have to tend to my own needs.
I have a few very close friends here and I do hold them closely. I don't wish to name names but they are very substantial to me. From 7am till now I have done so much. Folks do become a situation while you tend to your own things. For a Monday, I literally hate going into this Oncology area now and I really desire to do my own life.
In no manner does that refect on the friends that I have online or offline. This was a Monday that so many things were all done so rushed. When folks do get older it seems that you just have to do what is necessay and the move on with your own things.
This was a very hectic morning to say the least. More was done within 6 hours than what one usually does within a day.
Enjoyed reading your journal.
ReplyDeleteWell Jan I do...literally.
ReplyDeleteSeems this is a revolving thing....thank for passing by Heidi.
ReplyDeletehi , love the pic very much, and i am glad that i am your friend.Rosiex
ReplyDeleteWithout a doubt Rose....without a doubt. I do mean that as you know.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to be able to connect with friends here. Even in the hectic times to pause and say hello is good and a bit of heartfelt encouragement is good to receive as well. Thanks for taking the time have a good day
ReplyDeleteSome days are like that ... I hope it doesn't happen too often for you.
ReplyDeleteThere must be some sense of satisfaction and accomplishment in it for you now that it's over and done. Exhale and enjoy the rest of the week ... in your own fashion.
It's always a good thing to know our limitations though ... for the next round. ((Hugs))
Glad the busyness of this day is behind you. Now you can relax, I hope.
ReplyDeleteYeah it is as I did take my own time after all of the situations that I had to attend to and as well for my own.
ReplyDeleteTomorrow I have another stage to go with my car. So all went well with my insurance but at the same time I tomorrow I will know if it's a right off and I have a cheque for the worth of the car.
Meanwhile I really am not one that enjoys to go back into this Oncology department. My hopes are that my father does have a nurse put in place sooner than later. As my mother is not in her right stage of mind on this morphine.
Where did I find my own enjoyment - out at a homestead with some horses.
Yeah it's behind me Sue, but it was all mixed up as he only went in for blood tests and a talk with the oncologists today, so Tuesday is another day where then he goes through that 20 day period.
ReplyDeleteFrani, I literally am healing and doing things here as since this accident I push it but at the same time I know that I can't over do it physically. So I just got back home here and well it's been a Monday that I thought would go much smoother than this but it's one that you have several things that your doing at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI know my limits but to say "no" is one that is very hard to do, especially when all are on the downtime....but I do prevail. So many have told me to say no - the friends of my folks and so on. I will to some extent but today was such an array of things and my hopes are that one friend of my mothers will take the step and talk to her and get her into the hospital or a clinic as she has avoided it for the last 5 weeks.
Don't get me wrong she is a great women but she is on a medication that the first side effect is hullicinations and depression.
So for me I only can manage so much. I have been ready for two weeks and the other night she was imagining that everyone was picking on her. That's the last thing we wish to do - it's the medication.
I do hope things get better....
ReplyDeletei do know from personal experience how taxing it can be taking care of sick loved ones. we would never walk away but sometimes it takes so much of a toll on us emotionally and physically.
ReplyDeleterest when you can and enjoy each spare moment you can find, my new friend.
blessings,
lt
Oh they shall....thanks.
ReplyDeleteYeah it is but you just give a little time and understand it for what it is.
ReplyDeleteAnd you then get on with it Linda.
Hey Jack ... cheer up am here! [laughs] That's precisely the reason why I kept on knocking on your door, for you not to overdo yourself ... have time for some rest, and do things one at a time ... happy Tuesday morning! I just arrived from my walks and badminton ... how are you [?] Hugs. maritess* :)
ReplyDeleteOh that was earlier and I get over all of this shortly. I am not one to hold on to something too long. Here it's Monday evening now - the evenings come all so quick.
ReplyDeleteYeah ... its about 7pm i think ... on your side of the globe, here I am just about to start the day. Have good conversations w/ friends here ... i would post a pic in a few moments ... are you home ...
ReplyDeleteNo I am texting within my car while I drive :)
ReplyDeleteWhaat ... oh noh! Don't do that Jack ... :(
ReplyDeleteI was joking :)
ReplyDelete... hmmm ... here again ... the typical Jack! [laughs]
ReplyDeleteIt is surprising how energy varies, how sometimes we get so much done and other times we are not at all productive.
ReplyDeleteSo true DJ, went to see how things were with my car - yet by way of our social insurance - I don't know where it stands yet. But the worst case situation is that I buy a new horse or new car :)
ReplyDeleteThere are times in which reality is something that you deal with. And encompassing it all it's all very productive - last night I watch a canadian show on Andre Aggassi.....it blew me away..
