Unfortunately, I was driving home and a person to my right at an intersection never yielded and went right into my car. I was taken into ambulance and needless to say I am in some pain and will see how it goes.
This definitely was not an intended situation or one for photographs as by the time I arrived home I layed down. So pending how this goes as my right side and my left leg is giving me a little pain.
How some drive without that consideration. But we shall see how this all goes. I had the option to go get an evaluation at the hospital but I didn't feel much pain then and I will see how it goes this evening.
better to go get checked out just to make sure. and you will probably be in more pain tomorrow from the jarring. take care and hope nothing is wrong and it's just aches and pains that will go away.
ReplyDeleteI literally just logged on and I am going to see how it goes .....
ReplyDeletewell, tomorrow you can go there.
ReplyDeletebtw....I was listening to your
Words song.....you sort of sound like John Lennon....anyone ever tell you that? :)
aww Im so sorry this happened, you must feel awful...take some Tylenol and rest up..
ReplyDeleteIt takes a while before things start to hurt. I'd go get checked out soon. Take care my friend
ReplyDeleteim sorry Jack...I hope you are ok...
ReplyDelete... i'm so sad it happened to you Jack. I pray you're fine now ... take a rest ...
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm glad it wasn't worse but hope and pray you will be just fine
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear that it was not worst than it was. However, pay attention to your self. Any swelling or intense pain in your leg or side call for assistance ASAP.
ReplyDeletewow, you never know. At least you are home and ok, could've been much worse. get some rest.
ReplyDeleteJack, you really should get that evaluation. It's better al round to rule out anything serious! I'm sorry this happened my friend! Do take good care, and rest. And go see your doc tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteI agree...go get checked out. It always takes a day or two before the real injuries show up. Ya gotta look out for numero uno. Go to the doc!
ReplyDeleteWhiplash Injury can be nasty. I agree. Get checked. Keep yourself in one piece. ..
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the accident Jack, but you need to go and check yourself out and make sure you'll be ok.it could be an hidden injury that may take some time to show up.thats what mri,ekg,sonoggram,ex-rays are there for.your health and well being is what matters.
ReplyDeleteit's not a good news to have the incident. I think the best things you should do now is go for some medical check. Don't need to have more pain to see the doctor coz when the legs hurt more, you will difficult to walk to the doctor. Serious.
ReplyDeleteYou better check and be sensitive to any other pains you will feel since it takes a while before things start to hurt after the accident. Take some rest and take care Jack.

Sorry that happened to you Jack. You've had enough drama this year. I too think you should get checked out. It might be a hassle, but just in case...
ReplyDeleteI've not been around here much this week ... so sorry to hear of your troubles. I hope all is well! :)
ReplyDeleteI had this kind of thing happen with a harvesting combine in a field 30 years ago. I thought I was fine and could handle it with cold compresses and aspirin (and 2 glasses of white wine). By 2:00 in the morning I was banging a broom handle on the floor to try to wake up one of my teenagers or their friends in the basement rumpus room, to take me to the hospital. There was no way I could hobble down the stairs to wake one of their gang of friends who played Dungeons and Dragons down there all weekend. I did not have a sprain. The pain got worse and worse. The leg was shattered up and down and I ended up having 7 operations to fix it. I have a very high pain threshold so it takes a while for my brain to figure out that something is more wrong than I think it is. I still only have 80% flexiblility in that leg, just above the ankle, even after months of physio. That was the end of skating and skiiing for me. The upside is that I can still walk. Years ago I would have spent the rest of my life in a wheelchair.
ReplyDeleteHope you are going to be okay....unfortunately it always hurts worse the next day.....taken care....sending you all the good vibes I can muster!
ReplyDeleteHope you heal fast! One of my favorite sayings is "life can change in an instant". Take care ,
ReplyDeleteBeen wondering how you are hope all is OK take care now
ReplyDeleteso sorry to hear this! hope you're okay hon! hugsss!
ReplyDeletewell?? how are you doing today?? did you go to the doctor? let us know please, and I hope you are fine.
ReplyDeleteThanks I dont have my glasses on but I am waiting to see when my doctor can see me - my hopes are tomorrow and I literally should have went with the ambulance rather than signing off and my go in today as I have dizziness, my left knee is swollen and my right rib area feels terribe - so if I am not on for a while you know why I thank you and I will see how things go as six hours after the accident which was more major than I thought after writing this - I have been in incredible pain. As well as if dont know what the signs of whip lash are but I think something is very wrong with my neck - so either I have an appointment tomorrow or I am going into emergency today.
ReplyDeleteI thank you and if I am not on for a while you do know why. Gosh I did not need this!
You should go to the hospital at once Jack. So they could give you series of tests and x-trays 24 hours of not recieving the proper medications is very crucial ... I pray you only have minor injuries. Certainly you don't need that kind of things ... hugs. maritess*
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear ! Hope your pain is gone soon.
ReplyDeleteHope that you will recover for this problem whatever it may be quickly and without any complications.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon I pray. Sorry you are experiencing this trauma. Take your time and res and your friends will be here
