oh yes! it is coming way to fast...........and only one more paycheck before xmas gets here.........I have three grandkids to buy for....told my kids they wouldn't be getting anything for xmas, I just don't have the money.....but, I bet I will break down and buy them something still........$20 each isn't too bad........ugh....that is the only thing I don't like about xmas.......it should be in the summer when money isn't so tight!
well true, it's not about how much you spend....and $20 isn't going to get much that's for sure. :) I've already decided upon what I am cooking for dinner...it will be lasagna, salad and garlic bread and maybe a red wine. I can make it all a day in advance and then really be able to enjoy their company instead of fussing over the stove.

... 24 days before Christmas ... my fave day the whole of 365 days. And I wanna' thank God for giving you to me as a friend and will say that on the midnight of 24th to make it more special! And yes thank Him for continued blessings. I know being thankful is an every minute affair with Him ... but that day is a very special one. Hugs. maritess* :))
December, the month that mother nature puts the northern half of the earth to sleep and the southern half to spring forth with energy and life. for me its the time my inner child wakes up in hopes that Santa will remember her this year. It is also a time for us to renew our spirit and to rejoice in life..
