Hanna came here from Russia as I first went back to the centralized library
of the university she was most helpful in the early morning to indicate to
me what had changed since I had attended this university.
So many students were there from all over.
There were now these "think tank" rooms where students
could get together and focus one the exam or the areas
that they were studying.
It truly amazed me as to how many do get up early in the morning
and go right into the library and utilize all that is there.
Ironically when I was attending this university we had no computers
we would work in a much different way but kudos to these new
prospects of the world - as they are the ones that will shape
our futures.
I do love the early mornings get my stuff done and the rest of the day is left to do as i want...And computers have connected the world togather i think..I have met some interesting people this way...
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, we could just throw any age kids, who WANT to learn, into any library (esp. one this well equipped) and they would educate themselves! Here's hoping there are enough who really do want to learn. (Some days I wonder.)
ReplyDeleteJulie very much so I look at things on a very international level....
ReplyDeleteI don't agree .....some will and some will walk away from it all Sue and then still in these times.
ReplyDeleteYet she is an immigrant from Russia and yeah it's cute...I think we all have different languages and those that have the ability to learn more
