Daylight

How one does go about things within a day and yet it get so dark so early now. You know I never really thought about how day it can get and this daylight savings time but then again this is not way way up. Yet it's day. I am not sure about you but I am a morning person I am up and at it early in the morning and within the evening it's that time where it's not like the summer where the sun stays up till 10pm.  Yet it's only for a while, I guess it's all within compromise. I know that many are celebrating there time or offline around this time but I take the day for what it's worth sure you do this and that for members of a family and then mingle with a few friends but you do what you wish to do and with all that said - I am not sure about you but I really am not so much into the bad news these days but ratherly the good news.

And just imagine withing a few weeks the days again will becoming much longer.

Yeah

  2. I'm a morning person too. Asia does not have daylight savings time, and I have never gotten used to it. Right now it is dark from about 6pm until 7am. No light along with the cold does not make me particularly cheery.

  3. It's something to be driving within during the busy hour to say the least. I find that here within this city it's grown so fast that
there is just a tremendous amount of congestion. Within the morning that's fine within the eve I love it when there is still
that sunset that at the peak of summer goes right up to 10pm....but this is that time of the year.
    And I don't live in Alaska. :)

  4. Nancie I love mornings I dont come on right now but I love to come on later here. We here don't have a daylight savings time either just like Arizona. Here it's dark from 5pm to about the same as well. I love the natural sunlight as I see you feel the same.

  9. and i amigo am of the night----daytime is foreign to me--too busy-- too rushed --too dressed up---it is that way for the workers in song and the ones who dance---the faceless voice who is there to say "hot line-i am here for you"----si--soon the solstice and the knowing that the days are longer ---yet in the darkness and the cold we remember our relatives who hiebernate and link us to our beginnings---we marvel at the snow that lights the night and laugh as puppies try to stand on ice----to everything amigo there is a season and a purpose---si?

  13. A seasonal balance. Save the indoor things for evening. But the days lately have been indoor ones almost entirely, quite a bit of rain.

  14. I love it when the days begin to grow longer, and that time is not far off. For the time being, however, the early winter darkness is a cozy thing.
