It's funny you know it seemed like just yesterday it was summer and how things fly so fast. The evenings here are nearly dark by 4:30 pm, and the mornings well it's that time of years where the the daylight is less and less till mid December.
Today I received the word with regards to my car from this accident and now I am waiting for the mail. It's rather funny how slow things can be at certain times but yet finally now there is outcome. Mondays, hmm. I am not sure if they are my favorite day of the week but it's when you just get back into things I really am glad that I have now passed this small hurdle and the first week of December will be a great one. As far as the shorter days within the evenings it's nice, but it would be far better when December 21st comes around. Meanwhile, I kid you not I take 800 IU's of Vitamin D.
So I have been out and not running yet but certainly taking in things and enjoying them. I can see that there is a great theme as well as many shares with the upcoming Thanksgiving...you know it's something different within the United States. I hope this week to write on Thanksgiving from an American point of view. As there are fond recollections.
But aside of all this I am glad that all things now are finished off pertaining to my car and the insurance and all.
..hi ..and glad to hear your car Insurance is sorted ot ..time can be slow ..waiting for Mail!!..have a peaceful evening over there..:)
ReplyDeleteWell it will be here in two days but it's all resolved and am glad for that Caroline.......relieved actually.

Thanks Frani and just getting into this and going to read and then maybe do a night cap write...
ReplyDeleteI love the book that you featured on your blog.
Glad you got that insurance business sorted out. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because it's not about gifts, but about family, good food, and being thankful. A very peaceful time for me as I love cooking.
ReplyDeleteExactly....what we have and so forth is something that is truly what Thanksgiving is all about. And I think it stands for many things now yet we still regards our roots.
ReplyDeleteOh that is a good thing : )
ReplyDeleteit is dark here by 5:30 most days...I am waiting for spring
ReplyDeleteI guess I'm weird, I love the darkness, rain, cold... and if I'm lucky the snow. But here in SC we don't get snow every year.
ReplyDeleteBefore we know it Danette it will be here....it's terrific to just read. Still here it's nice and well not like there but it's as I have said before I can't complain.
ReplyDeleteAnd literally I do take that many units of vitamin D. It makes up for the less sun at this time.
Spring, Summer and Fall.....those are the seasons I love. Winter well ummmm...:)
The only place up here in Canada that usually never gets any snow is British Colombia aside form that we are much like the northern part of Illinois.
ReplyDeleteThe daylight hours are short here also.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that enough vitamin D is very important.
so glad to hear that you almost have everything resolved! the boys can't wait for thanksgiving; to them (aside from giving thanks of course) it means family, friends, food, and football, LOL! the order of importance changes depending on the time of day!
ReplyDeleteDJ yes I have to visit your page as you have something now and then.
ReplyDeleteBut yes within this area Vitamin D is and has been proven medically to be a great replacement for the sun in areas that
have the fewer hours.
In more than Canada and the United States of America although at different times - as it's all pertaining to history.
ReplyDeleteMost all Arielle do celebrate Thanks Giving. The question is what is the meaning of it within our own thoughts?
A great afternoon to you there.
