Right Now...

I came to realize one day a thing in life that we all often take for granted. We reach for the stars because they are so beautiful and they are something we crave so much.

Yet now I find that I wish for things in a different way.We want something we can't have like the stars, however we certainly can obtain what we wish to have in our own way as we acknowledge what are aims are when they are realistic. And within the realistic there is the imagination of what is abundant to each one of us. To say that one can't have something is not the manner nor order of life. Then to know that deep within there is the possibility - we forge ahead in doing what we desire. It's a rather neat thing within life I feel.

I have learned that things are definitely worth reaching for but all by the means while there is an understanding of what can be and what can't be. I don't subscribe to the word "should" but I do believe that there is validity in making dreams or goals happen.

It’s all in living within the moment as I see it. Without a bitterness of the past but an excitement of what can be rather than what can’t be.

  1. Living in the moment is perhaps the best thing we can do...the past is gone, no reason to look back unless our fond memories lure us there...the future is the unknown and nobody knows what the next minute might bring...

  3. Yes this is so true...You learn as you get older to be content with what you have and not to want for so much all the time. It loses its importance after a while. I am blessed far more than I ever deserved...and thankful for everything that the Lord has blessed me with.

Very good blog post...Have a good night ...Take care...

  5. The same to you Deb, I just got in the door and my it's snowing again, but I am thinking of a variety of things but yeah for myself, I think I have aged but I still have a little of that child like things within in myself, it's been a great day all in all. I wish you the same. As, I thought it was your birthday my mistake but the one thing if I may say is we all are not on the same time zones but perhaps we all have different varied frequencies in which we think.

    Good night and God Bless...

  6. Jen I moved past that so long ago, today was a day that really has had some worth to me. I still have some other things to do, but I am not looking back and am really just sitting back and pondering where my favorite socks are as it's another blizzard that seems to be on it's way.

Bitterness is something that at ones age it can really bring you down or you can rise above it. That to me is days gone bye. And I am so looking forward the snow to come to an end. That probably is my one area that I really do not love...

  8. Norma, last Saturday everything was melting most thought this was the beginning of spring and it just came back again. How does the saying go, "In like a lamb and out like a tiger". Hmmm.
Usually now it's warm and the days are much much longer and as it's a dry climate here - we would be having spring starting...but I have not been here in the past two years, so lets just see what happens it's all one can do...

  9. Maybe you'll get lucky and the blizzard will miss ya. Here we warmed up nicely. Turned back wicked cold. And are now apparently heading back toward another warming trend. Hope this one lasts!

  13. Yeah the when you are looking for your glasses after realizing they are off and the computer is playing havoc - it's not as spontaneous as it can be ! :)

  14. I only need glasses for far-off stuff so I lose mine quite often, too. Hard to remember them when you only wear them part time.

  15. Thanks for the invitation. Hopefully it will be beneficial to us both (all?) in time to come.

  16. Your welcome this was a very long time in coming as I forget the time in which I invited you but it was a month or two ago.
The benefit is in what it is for each and everyone in a manner of writing. We write and share the things that are of importance and yet we as well have a regard to others in a manner or a reciprocating effect.

Hope is something which is good. And with regards to "All" well all are in this in a manner of their own writes and sharing in what I deem as a co creative manner.

    Welcome!

    Jack

  17. The hardest part of making your dreams a reality is letting go of the old thoughts that keep you bound to working for others in a job where you're miserable. Most people are trapped in that spot.

  18. Hello, handsome! Lovely picture, Jack!

It is the dreams for the future that make the struggles of the present bearable!

  20. Cal some are, but some balance it all out and I have done everything that I have had to do on this Wednesday now and with the exception of possibly going for supper with a friend of mine. It's all within a balance. By the way I have been able to get into your blogs and you have some good writings going on there. (wished to mention)...

  24. I agree strongly - its a "hard" word it seems to me, even if Engling isnt my native language.
