Some of My Favorites

Some of my favorite pictures I have some that I did take off back one year ago but all in all these are some of the pictures I love the best out of all that I have done with this camera of mine over the past two years.

  1. Thanks for sharing these. We lived in the Peace River Country and farmed there for 13 years so the geography brings memories.

  2. Karyn, I have so many but within these there is a significant factor to each and every one of them to me. Some I had on one of the first digital cameras that came out but it broke and it had some that I really like but these do have some value to them. I think you remember some of them of my cousins and so forth that were on y360.
I have lived in nearly every province in Canada and then I have been lived in New York, but traveled all down the Eastern portion of the United States.
The only places in Canada that I have never been too are Quebec and British Colombia.
    It's a small world...

  9. This was my cathardic voyage and it was a time where I had come to peace with so many things that had taken place within life. I know as I look at the picture what I was doing and it was something to do with a mediative practice that I had learned spiritually and from my days studying Aikido.

  13. A friend of mine is the head of the fire trauma unit, he takes over different fire halls when the chief is burned out. He gave me the full options to go in and take pictures. This person woke up and got dressed in full gear just for the picture this really is one of the best that I have taken as it just hit the mark.

  26. A refueller on the tarmac - fueling up a 737...he was from Newfoundland and was a very interesting person to talk with. He caught everyone's attention as he was so witty and had this accent of what is called a newfie accent and stood nearly 7 feet. It does not really show that in the picture but the guy should have played basketball!

  27. Aikido...I still keep in touch with this older gentleman that is teaching the class I was on the board of directors but I did not have all that much time for it. But it's something I intend on doing as I have studied and taught it for some 20 years.

  38. When I moved there I did not know spanish, and from this movie I mixed up the words and then later I learned what the name meant and I was the joke of the neighbourhood which was highly prevalently mixed with spanish people. There was a day in which I was at a birthday party and all sat me down - they were all spanish and they then told me what it meant - I was the fool, but "Bo" was the celebrity of the neighborhood! Not kidding...

  43. So people say, but not really I think it's the way that the image comes out on this computer. But I have put on about ten pounds since then. But no I was not in a doom and down manner I was literally doing a mediation - I am really not kidding on this and just focusing on what my goals were and what I was leaving or letting go from my past.

  44. All my life it's always been about work...and in many ways it's still like this but as I think I mentioned now I have returned from Edmonton, and of recent I hope that things do come about with the very same thing that I did there. So my fingers are not crossed, I have made a transition and I am up at 5am or 6, and I get what (not bragging) people do, by one in the afternoon. Today was a cold day and I had 8 things to do, I completed 7. It's a productive day.
Last but not least, I don't think all things are work, but I believe that purpose is in work, but in my 20's to mid 30's all I did was work. I even would have a cot in my office and sometimes do overnights pending what was required. Where did it get me, it got me to a place that I began to learn that some wished to be around me due to whom I was, and some sincerely were my true friends. So now in life, my goal or objective is not to be a high rise to fortune but to simply do something that I enjoy and as well bring back the hobbies that I have loved in life > studio fun here with a friend of mine that owns one and produce a little, and most of all Aikido. And I say confirmed bachelor, as who knows what will come about - but one thing leads to another. That is life for me, in a suit or otherwise...
I worked for the largest consortium of four older men most of my life, then as well after taking time off as there was an on slaughter of cancer, that I did pay a big price in doing it but I am not bitter regarding it. It did make for a better person...probably and especially right now in this stage of my life.

  45. Yeah that was a place that blew me away. My hopes were to get right up there as there must have been a custodian that could have taken me but when your given privy too something never ask for more...There are actually palm trees from Mexico that are replaced every five years if I recall correctly. It really was something. Lyn I loved the rustic old coal mine, and there are some that I don't know where they are as they probably are in boxes on a cd, I have a few 4gig usb's that I will look back at. But most of all I enjoy having an idea of a few writes and then seeing if I can fit the image in with the write.
