I have been reading and catching up on a few blogs there have been some writes of recent that I read and it's just so interesting I never thought that reading some of these writing would be of such interest.
I have been busy - actually it has come to being an acceptance of things in a manner. How there are so many things shared. I really don't know what to make of what we all are doing here especially the people that are bringing up a variety of areas but I find that I will get into a write and it's much too long.
Finally there is some time that I have for myself that I can get the things done that I have been held back from for the past three weeks.
Reading might just be like listening in a way...
As somewhat of a shut in, at least as far as social interactions, I think reading blogs is almost exactly like listening.
ReplyDeleteYeah I think so...in the evening it's most interesting to read and read some of the writes the array are significant in each of the flavor.
ReplyDeleteIt is exactly like listening, Jack! You "hear" what the writer is saying, and interpret, or misinterpret, it depending on your own emotions and interests.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're having some time to read. It often gives you things to write about yourself.
for me this is like social activity. I meet strangers and sometimes just say hi. Sometimes end up making a real connection. And other times walking away wondering what planet that person is from. lol There are debates, arguments, out right fights, drama, lies, stealing: the whole gamut of real social interaction. The difference is we're not face to face. We're on the phone. It's the perfect medium for those of us who need the delay that 'writing' affords us whereas speaking requires nearly instant responses.

ReplyDeleteum....that one showed up empty...how'd you do that, Jack? was it like a submarine 'ping'? lol
ReplyDeletewhat? I was trying to do an audio reply how do I do what?
ReplyDeleteOh, you have to have a microphone and click the audio, I guess. huh, I wonder if I could hear it?
ReplyDeleteinsertAudioReply('initiativestain:video:102','upload-initiativestain-102','');
ReplyDeleteI"m listening to you now. Hey, no accent?
ReplyDeleteYes you can see the "audio reply", sometimes I will use it now and then. But I am chewing gum lol...
ReplyDeleteYeah you would need a mic...
You don't need a mic, if there's one built into your laptop, as there is in mine! Once you hit "Audio Reply", click on "Allow" and then start the recording.
ReplyDeleteSorry to butt in...
ReplyDeleteno prob, what do you sound like Kitti?
ReplyDeleteOkay...going to make an audio reply right now. Give me five...
ReplyDeleteJack, my puter doesn't have a mic or cam so I wondered if I'd be able to hear you if you made an audio reply. That's what I meant. I could hear you fine. Nice voice....I dunno why I expected an accent lol
ReplyDeleteOh I had a malfunction with the computer and I got it going after formatting and so forth. I have been enjoying the readings in here. I have been writing and by the time I get on here I do know what I want to write but then it's much too late.
ReplyDeleteinsertAudioReply('initiativestain:video:103','upload-initiativestain-103','');

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Wulf! I love NY too, Jack...though it's killing me financially! LOL!!
ReplyDeleteWe all interact in our own ways neat very neat...
ReplyDeleteHey Wulf, if you come to my page, you can hear me read aloud on a blog called "Jabberwocky". You, too, Jack!
ReplyDeleteOk shall do I have to reboot and make sure that I have this computer all finished off....Promise I will get there...
ReplyDeletemy son's moving to NY this summer...somewhere in manhattan, so he can make a quick run across the hudson to NJ to attend an art school that's there.
ReplyDeleteGod bless him! Manhattan is expensive...but young folk seem to like it! Too frenetic for my tastes! I like the country, although I myself work in Manhattan.
ReplyDeletewhat page is jabberwocky on, you have a lot of pages lol
ReplyDeletelol found it......duh.......glasses are good.
ReplyDeleteThat was fun to listen to. Good reader. Thanks.

ReplyDeletehugs*
ReplyDeleteHugs back friend...
ReplyDeleteGlad you are finding time to do some reading Jack. I myself love to do that, there is so much of interest in what others have to say.
ReplyDeleteBev yes, it's morning here and I am just having a coffee and reading some of the posts such as yours, my good friend Denise, Norma, Jean, and then some that I have never seen before as I was so mingled within my own writings. But hey - I am not in jail for god's sake.
ReplyDeleteI look up and I am smiling as there was a discussion going on while I went offline within my own blog between two. Hmmm :)
Observant Jack :)
Jack, I am here now..lol! Thanks for the short visit a while ago. It's interesting to know that people are actually responding to what appeals to them. This is one thing I can say if I may say so. I enjoy reading a lot; however, I don't waste my time reading the ones that fall under the "gobbledegook" category. So far, most of the ones that I have read are very interesting, informative and enjoyable. Thanks to those who took the time to post something worthwhile. Have a wonderful day and take care.Stay happy! God bless.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree. It is really social interaction. Brings new friends, acquaintances, shared thoughts, even debates. I never have the time I'd like to spend catching up with all the blogs that I find interesting, but I try to get around to each of them as time permits.
ReplyDeleteI think you are absolutely correct when you say that reading is a lot like listening. I think for a great many of us, we just want to be heard, and we don't actually expect a response. Actually, I think when you EXPECT anything, you are doomed to be disappointed somehow!
ReplyDeleteYes that was early this morning everyone is different, yet there is the obvious but there are the good categories, > I know what you mean. Worth means much it does Amy...even within the reading that I had done last night for a while.
ReplyDeleteSo true, and the array of reads that I had the time to do last night were so varied yet they were tremendous from my vantage. We are not celebrities we are people that have some option of a voice within what we desire to write. Expectations are something that are rendered by way of merit.
ReplyDeletePeace to you there and hope your having a nice day!
Jack, I appreciated your response and found it very interesting. Please expand on the concept of "worth means much it does Amy"...Am really looking forward to your further elucidation. Have a gorgeous rest of the day...Wink, wink!!!
ReplyDeleteWorth is something that is with regard to something that one deems useful, something that they wish to do as they regard it to be something of benefit and enjoyable to themselves as well as may have the opportunity to be something that is with others.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you a hundred percent, Jack. Worth is everything!!!!!!
