What I Love Best

Literally for myself I love to just vocally record. I love the studio and the feel and the people that all go within music. This plan is not as easy as it seems as you have to bring several people and personalities together and my brother and I have different tastes. Blaine was all Beatles and really nothing else and then I moved on with more of the old croonies songs of the likes of Buble, Sinatra, Nat King Cole and a few other artists. I changed within music and come to love more vocal content than what is known as pure rock. I have played drums since I was 13. Guitar came as a side as I am not a great guitarist. Piano I love. But most of all I love vocals. I have not spoke on here much yet I have no hesitation in saying I my best instrument is my voice. While Blaine has always played drums and well that's really it. Francaise is a fine bass player and can sing of the like of John Lennon. So it's fun yet not easy to make the choices for everyone before they even come online - I mean arrive. Bruce I have not found - so the one mandate that I have within all of this for myself is that it does not come to be work. When it does then that's where it stops. But all in all - the past of what our band was was THEN.

So I type within my voice lol and I bid you a good night as tomorrow is another day and of no concern in a studio till next week. As always music makes the world go around and everyone can sing - even when so many say they can't nor will they dare but within showers, while biking, in all spaces of life I shall never forget my 4 grade teacher at Bear Road School, saying music is what makes the world go around.

In all facets of our lives music is - one does not have to be in a studio or otherwise to be a musician as all really are as we all hum, whistle, and when we hear those favorite songs of ours in the car or where ever - everyone has a voice and is musical. As sound makes the world go around. Even animals or our pets strike a key in C major now and then.

Thus we all "hum" within those Stairs, and we thrive on the "whens" - Quando. And there are something with keep a person "Young at Heart" - "Forever".

  4. Somehow the chorus teacher managed to pick me to be among some brilliant singers in an 'octet' during my high school years. We competed in competitions and sang at school functions....Singing can be a liberating form of self-expression....keep the world turning. Have fun!

  5. U admire those who can sing on key. I simply make joyful noises - not musically inclined. But I live hearing melodies and hearing lyrics that make sense. Crooners, big bands, ballads as well a hymns.

But it's .........."yellow". I did it years ago after meeting with James Blunt in Edomonton.

  9. Vicky truly it is. Yet on the side photography has always been much of the same to me as well.
I myself have my own choices and you can't go back in time yet I believe everyone can sing.
This was much more of a good coincidence. But it's certainly fun - very much so. It has to be
otherwise I am not for it. For myself it began in high school and then went on and has been
in some manner apart of my life. I was casted to play a comedy of one of my teachers and
from there we went about doing a song with a few friends within high school - I thought it as we
had 5 minutes left within this christmas theatrical that I with four other students would do a song
which at that time as an intermeral occassion. I then knew that I would bring about a band with
my brother. Go figure as that is how it all started all within just five minutes of doing one song.
We called ourselves for fun - "The Teachers".

  10. No Grammy not really. One can take a song and make it their own style of rendition....in the past 10 years I have merely produced
and done audio checks and then just played with a few others now and then. A person's voice does not stay the same as one grows
    older. But....:)

  11. Music brings out the soul I tend to think Carol - some illustrate that at a much older age.
Yet "Young at Heart" is a state of mind. :)
