The Minutes were Zero

The Minutes were Zero
Matters all came to a halt
It was not possible
People within all corridors
Those within hospitals
Those within schools
Those within all avenues
Millions watched what was unfolding
There own situations Where forgotten
From a mother doing dishes
To another at work
All within an short time
Where glued to that television
Within an instant
The minds of millions stopped
Minutes came to be Zero t
he souls of millions hurt
They listened and watched
All with the same humanitarian concern
Everything at hand was place aside
A time where humanity came to absorb

Tears as they watched in awe where the millions
Watching then Calling - Calling then Watching
Glued to the tube only trying to understand
Yet realizing the thousands were in harms avenues
Of a city which was that of an apple as they called it
Yet this red was not that of a red apple
The hundreds of folk in hospitals
The lady within the kitchen
Those in Places of business
All watched in awe
Helpless were millions yet all too concerned
As they watched what unfolded
Institutions of education closed
Everyone came to a stop
Or the stop came to everyone
And the tears of millions
From all corridors Came to a halt
Everyone stopped – the world stopped
The people watched
Many with hands over there mouths
Millions caressed each other

Mankind seemed to be brought down to it's knees
The feel was of shock as the minutes and time

Became Zero

  1. And the sounds of cries and
fears engulfted every fibers of everyone
    helpnesness seen
    deaths everywhere
    as the powers take refuged
high above the blue grayish skies
    wailing asking everyone insights
    - what's happening -
    yet no one could ascertain.
    Grief enveloped the scenes.
    High above the sky
    to the deepest down
    Darkness covers the earth
    People walked by ...
    wounded
    distressed face
    finding refuge to the next
    shoulder to lean on
    - and there -
    everlastings arms seen
    ready to help
    un minding of the risks
    Showing love
    help-ping each other
    thou' grief stricken faces
    gray colored skins
    lay bared as the world
    stops to a halt.
