    We are getting rain tonight.I don't mind as we haven't had much rain all summer , the ground is very dry and dusty.Fall is in the air....cooler temps, better sleeping weather......love it.

    We have had bad storms all summer. Very violent lightning and flash flooding. I hope you got some sleep.

    After such a monotonously hot, drought ridden Summer, rain is beginning
    to come around the Dallas-Ft Worth metroplex, though isolated and
    not 'blanketing' the area when it comes.

    The cooler mornings are a welcome, as they appear here and there.
    And grass lawns, always amazing how just a little rain can green things right
    up, where hours of watering will not do nearly as much.
