IT IS WHAT IT IS

Hair Cut

I have been working on some projects which have nothing to do with blogging. The last two evenings I have enjoyed to just come back to this and write. Within the morning I am up early and within today before this holiday weekend I was able to accomplish several things I had set in place. Yeah I do plan things out and when the evening comes and ironically even when it gets late I have been busy with a few goals that I have put into place.

I don't think you cease within goals which you desire. As well I was able to get most everything else done on the personal side of things. The weather has became cooler where within four hours of the day it really does peak up to summerlike. Yet the days are getting shorter - but I don't mind it I do like that morning dawn when the sun is just beginning to arise.

There are so many writes of recent on the economy and now and then I will write a submission within a newspaper and the thought was on how America wishes to commence talks with Canada in order to becoming closer. Within the people or societies if you will I don't see a huge difference between Canada and the United States. I do see a difference within the governments but it's ironic as during the term of the George Bush he did create a dissension by way of placing tariffs on Canada as the Prime Minister at the time didn't agree with what he and Dick Cheney were pushing for with Iraq - frankly Cheney and Rumsfield did more harm than good in more ways than one. Thus the government in Canada decided that it would not agree with terms.

There perception of the governments at that time where really a time where there was no talks. Frankly you had two governments which were as far apart as I never had seen before. Yet the people of either country had more in common despite it all. Sure there are places where on either side of the fence there are those which are challenged. Challenged in the manner which they don't understand each other. Government wise.

Yet amongst most people there is more in common by way of relatives which really don't make for much of a difference. But that was then and this is now. Yet when you look at the landscape here are a few examples. Many people within Mass., have direct relatives with people Newfoundland. Those within the Michigan area have direct relatives within what is called the Maritime Provinces. So when I was writing this column I found that there were more crossovers within relatives and relations of the people - where then within the government at the time of George Bush. He appointed this ambassador which came into Canada but never knew the first thing about anything - yet he was a friend of George's. That era was terrible. Over 50 percent of what America at large was nor shall ever really know the truth.

Now of recent the GOP as well as those which are not in power right now have come to a consensus where they wish to have the aid of the Canadian GOP. It probably will be out within the news within a week. But I don't think Canada is better - I think that those in power know more about the American system than the American GOP knows about Canada. And it's where I find the CHALLENGE.  How would one country know more and understand more of another countries business? Frankly as I was writing, I had to question several things. 1. It's a different system of government in Canada than the United States. 2. There were all these bans on Canada which didn't make sense when you have two of the largest bilateral trading partners in the world. 3. America may very well be so concerned within 2008 when the economy had it's first rift. 4. Now this Tea Party has thrown out so much that when it comes to true current affairs - it could be trying.

So you walk around and which you had a chalk board and could place it all together. As it can be a maze. Couple that with so many thinking now with regards to the anniversary of September 11th and well you scratch you head and go outside and then come back in - hoping that you can bring about some cohesiveness to this.

I wrote what I believed in and if Canada had a problem in aiding United States within economic terms - then Canada would have the problem.  One doesn't look at the past right now in terms of history. Not when your trying to think from both sides of the border.  So I submitted what I felt was worthwhile and perhaps it shall makes some sense. Go figure on a Friday eve - but it's worth it. I didn't wish to place it off.

Canada and the United States it's a challenge when you think from both sides. You place yourself on one side and then you place yourself on the other.  Yet neither are better than the other it's just in taking into consideration the challenges as mentioned and if there was not a campaign taking place it would be much more easy but still there is merely one thing which seperates these two lands. The border (not really), it's those whom might be PridefullChallenged in the governments to different extents of either side.

That all said I did yet one does scratch their head even when it's not itchy. I so wish that things were in a more cohesive state right now. But there shall it's just going to take some time...and by all means I am not trying to rock the boat.

Where shall things be within one year - that's the big question. But if done right this situation can get on track. It just takes those that perhaps think outside of the box yet think before they act and have the ability to make decisions of that which are intelligent and if need be making the necessary trips in order to do it right this time.

Yep I am glad I got my hair cut.

  1. Am not much of a political person, not even capable of saying thingthat could rock the boat of two parties/countries so to speak. And so i would rather leave those thinking apolitical by nature to those concerned.

It's a labor day on your side of the fence, and yep, am glad too you got your hair ... c-u-t :) ...

  4. Yep, just taking one day at a time as I watch all these things unfold before me. Don't know what I would do without prayer and knowing that I'm not in control and don't have to be. Happy just to do what I'm told - at least more than I use to.

  7. It shall and will change I don't believe that things shall be the same within a few months. Yet we all are still free Grammy.
The way I see it Canada and America are two of the same. I can't extend on this how much I do feel that. I am not that
gifted a writer with this but here is a thought there is a highway just just near Cicero, NY which was within North Syracuse.
The highways was called the "Penn Can" Interstate.......no one cared as either direction lead somewhere unique within a
question as to what country it was. Penn stood for Pennsylvania and Can stood for Eskimoeville.:)
We scratch more now than we did before....

  10. Within the eve Rosie I am able to get more done as well as have fun. You will see there were errors within the write and well regardless and
everyone has their own way. Within the day I don't think on all this but ironically there are time I shall bring up things which
are within my own manner as yours. I had wrote Rosei for a newspaper here and then thought I would post in here and I didnt realize the time!

I never just write for the sake of writing within friends....Where do we go from here as I have seen so much on this subject matter.
Ironically Canada has been called to talks at the table - I think this is good. Not for reason that Canada is better that the basic thinker
    would think.

Hugs as this has been a full and nice Saturday Rosie - I thought you were in Paris...:)

  13. What I mean by being happy to do as I'm told, is doing what my Lord tells me. So if He tells me to go and vote and vote for a certain person, I do. If He tells me to picket holding a sign, I do. If He tells me to blog about what's happening with the government of the country in which I reside, I do. Or maybe I am told just to leave a comment about what someone else has to say.

Of course, being a not-completely-gotten-rid-of-selfishness person, sometimes I do and say things I'm not instructed to.

And again I'll say how much I enjoy your postings as they have helped me think beyond what I normally think about.

And being that I'm spreading my time several places, sometimes I just make a quick statement, letting who is involved know I at least read what they posted. Maybe I should take more time to share more of what I'm thinking and doing. I'm not always so quick to toot my own horn so to speak.

You're a great guy Jack, keep being you (which I already know you do exactly that - lol)
