  3. 22c today, but terrible strong northerlies this morning bringing more hay fever. Just gone noon and it is as dark as night with thunder, black clouds and at last some rain. This is to be expected now that Spring is here.

  5. It is still 23C/ 73F. in Toronto this evening.
I don't feel cold and I don't feel hot. It is as perfect an evening as one could get at this time of the year. The second week of September was about ten degrees colder then it is now.The weather report had said that it was going to be warm until the end of September. What they didn't know was that a cold front came in during the middle of Sept. So, it almost ruined my basil. As luck would have it the basil was still (even though slightly blemished) way better then the basil I bought at the fruit market.
The weather has been wonky all over Canada this summer.
Toronto had summer like conditions right up until about September 2nd and then it was down hill until now.

  9. Dry. The news last night showed Lake Benbrook, just south of Fort Worth, has dried up to the point that old bridges, roads, railroad beds and house foundations are not only visible but visitable. At least there is green grass there, sucking up the last drops of water before they, too, wither and become wildfire fodder. We need rain.

  10. It's very seasonal right now. Getting into the 70's during the day. But come the weekend, we will be lucky to see it near 50F. Some areas might see their first snow!
