“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, just do it. As what the world needs is people who have come alive and thrive.”

nice thought Jack
ReplyDeletePeople make the world go around Kenny.
ReplyDeleteEach one of us has that responsibilty within ourselves and within the society we are living in. And its starts on our own very self. Good thoughts.
ReplyDeleteGood quote
ReplyDeleteA good link as well but then there are no expectations.
ReplyDeleteI am not making fun as you think within your own realm of thoughts that America is lesser than Canada. Those which say one thing and well during this time on the day before you have just raised the bar Tee not within the integrity of what we deem as life but within the evermost inwards thoughts.

Be you as you are.....as age is not that adheres wisdom yet enjoy the eve.
My opt....for now. :)
war is good for nothing and it's sad nations have these means to destroy eachother for WANT of material things that no one can keep once they are dead just so sad people think this way.
ReplyDeleteWar is nothing any person ever wishes to go to aside of those which are extreme. There is an old saying within the air force, "they love us in times of need and forget us when things are fine." The military those whom lived on bases and had went to war never wished to go to war in fact they were more than often the opposite Kenny. That was a quote I recall as a kid from a General in the Air Force whom is now gone but his name was Bill Riley (retired General USAF). He passed away in Florida a few years ago but was the commanding officer in Syracuse New York.
ReplyDeletethat is very true what you say Jack people do rally to a coarse even if the coarse is not the best of reasons. to be honest I don't think any sane human wants to be involved in war or other horrible events that bring grief and suffering to others at any time. but as I said I feel it is sad humans do have these things in their lives for any reason.
ReplyDeleteWe as humans have far great threats that will end life on Earth then the needs to bring death to eachother by war. Just look at the extreme weather we suffer today. The unseen dangers coming from space meteorites, and other space missiles landing upon Earth.
while I don't support war, I do say thankyou to those who have given everything they hold dear in life and that is their living soul in the hope Human can grow up and become like the Ant. or as the Bible puts it.... Proverbs 6:6Go to the ant, you lazy one; see its ways and become wise. 7Although it has no commander, officer or ruler, 8it prepares its food even in the summer; it has gathered its food supplies even in the harvest. 9How long, you lazy one, will you keep lying down? When will you rise up from your sleep?

One sec Kenny....
ReplyDelete"For the rage of an able-bodied man is jealousy, and he will not show compassion in the day of vengeance." This said I like you rise and let it shine yet with honour
to all creeds and colours with no prejudice as we all are that of mankind.
that statement surely fits in nicely with the rest of that part of Proverbes 6 :10 A little more sleep, a little more slumbering, a little more folding of the hands in lying down, 11 and your poverty will certainly come just like some rover, and your want like an armed man.
ReplyDeleteI have no poverty and within the abogoriginals they would make a clay area from which to stand in for three days within the hopes that if they had an adversary they prayed and stayed for three days straight as when they knew they were going to have to go to war - they prayed that their adversary were of the same strength so that justice within their own philosphy would occur. This now is a time of peace a time where there is no need for guns within the sky. Rather we have stars which do shine...*Freedom.
ReplyDeleteI am not sure where you are going with this Jack.
ReplyDeletebut if you are thinking of the time when the first white english sailors landed on the shores of Australia and were then the shore party were attacked or should I say murdered while they slept as they attempted to setup trade relations with the Aboriginals here in Australia who by the way immigrated from both New Zealand and Indonesia during the ice age driving the real owners of the land down into Tasmania as the ice melted across the straight. Note these invaders would not cross the waters of the sea for fear the rainbow serpent would swallow them alive.
then yes they started a war that in times of global conquest saw them have to surrender the lands they stole for the murder of merchant sailors. The English allowed these people to remain on the land and share the land under Queen Elizabeth's ruler ship. and even today these people still show the same hatred towards anyone with white skin because they were allowed to live.
make no mistake these people murder everyone on the land that night while they slept, had it been another nation that was attacked under terms of war I am not so sure any of the so-called aboriginals would be alive today.
I do know what you mean I had just placed on a few links which all had an audio & other references Kenny.
ReplyDeletenice thanks Jack
