There are some that will hold on to that of question. And there are some which will play politics for all their worth. Days after the day of which we honor of September 11 are days which the new starts. I don't wish to continue with writing on September 11. For myself from a friend which works within Virginia and as an outsource to the Pentagon which was trained by my father to another whom moved on and went on to IBM. From my own colleagues to my old man's over last weekend the feel was to honor and then get on with it. Why focus on politics of which you hold no office? Why ponder on things which you have not been too and back? I think that would be left up to those which have. I don't care of those whom say they have lived throught all wars as this is a different era. I love history yet dessention and discourse I can live without.
The day is all finished the politics are redundant. I could place on the calls I made on the day of September 11. Basically the consensus by all was to get on and forget but the politics are dumb. Dumb is a word which mean simply dumb. There can be some that think they know everything. It's redundant it you ask me. Right now as the former governor of New York said best, "We had community and then it went in a direction which was all of other than what community is about". Pataki is and was a great Governor of New York. Could New York be different than the rest of the States.
The reason why is that I met the man. When I was living within New York City as I had returned there was not the stupidity which hits Americana. We are over this now. If your not I am and nothing beats talking to those which were within the infrastructure. If the average American which resides within America does not understand that right now there is a better situation compared to that of the past - do sent your remarks. I shall never mention a name but I don't give a rats' behind as to where your from in the states as more than anything you missing the forrest for the trees. Now how is it that by telephone there are more things which are understood than that of within a blog?
The more you sensationalize a time which was placed to past the more you bring it back. For those within America - I ain't a leader. But watch the news to your hearts content as mainstream America I feel does have a good understanding of all that went on. Before long most everyone shall leave as this persistent attitude and blogs on politics are dumb. The reason they are dumb is that when I go to cast my vote, I close a screen and vote for whom I felt was the best.
A blog is not about a political race - not the manner that I see it and I know. I know I am not the only one. There are some things which we retain silence with I would think that the choice of politics unless you work for a party is something to write without the need to voice it on a blog. Pataki was so right in what he had mentioned as a previous Governor of New York State.
Let it be. Better yet move on.
* I can't imagine how many still are writing on all this you would think that after Sunday there would or maybe some would take a change of thoughts as this is not a Political Blog. It's a blog called Multiply...not Pultiply but that is just my take.
Jack, I have learned how to move on and I always do ... However, I don't have the strong feelings about this issue that you have. I can still understand the needs of some people to linger there, in that space of grief and anger, a while longer than I need to. So be it.
ReplyDeleteFrani you really don't know me I have never chatted with you and there are some that things which linger yet I believe that we move on.
ReplyDeleteFrankly off the blog that not only is my thought but those of which I have spoke with.
A blog is a place of expression. Your a participant of a group
of which I was place out of and I feel within my space here I choose what I wish to write and I can understand the needs of some.
But neither you nor I can be the remedy. My feelings are not strong they are just that of my own from speaking with fellow New Yorkers - they feel
good Frani. The only qualm I have is that now it's beginning to get colder. I believe in moving on. So I believe the sooner that we get on with things the better things are
you might think the same yet I don't know. I do know your down south and Pataki was right with that of which he said of recent as well as President Clinton, Hillary Clinton as well as C. Rice as well as Prime Minister Harper and the Ambassador which was in Gander, Newfounldand on September 11. As well, President Obama.
I am glad we have gotten past the 10th anniversary of that event. For the people who lost family or close friends this will always remain a day they will never forget. For the rest of us, for the rest of our lives we will be able to say where we were and what we were doing but that doesn't mean the world has to stop or that we must forever mourn. The many TV shows and commercial activities to capitalize on the event is nothing but disgusting. I think those who spent the weekend dwelling on the events of 10 years ago are facing the week depressed.
ReplyDeleteSharon I kid you not this was the very same thought that this long time friend of mine by the name of Marc had yesterday. And yet it does not mean we don't forget but even Marc father whom is a retired sociologist had felt the same. Today I could have looked over all that of the past yet yesterday was too depressing mind you it's the anniversary and I was going to head to a celebration here but naw - I knew that it would bring back memories that are not necessary. Yet I had called seven people in all and all of them within New York and one in Florida felt the same way....
ReplyDeleteWhat I do know it that autumn here has arrived and from hot too cool that is
a transition within itself as two days ago we were in the 80's and 90's so I guess
it's that time which we are going from green to yellow.
I call September 10th the day America lost it's innocence. We learned we were not invincible and above terrorism. some people can't see that September 10th was no different then any other day. Neither is September 12th. I try to keep it in perspective. Nothing changed except we found out we were not above terrorism.
ReplyDeleteLiterally I could not agree more...Sharon.
ReplyDeletethere is a time and place for all things,,,,,change happens constantly and if you don't change with the times then your left behind.....history shows us that...there has always been a social context to politics......hence there's always a political debate. i agree with jade up there as far as nothing changed except we found out we were not above terrorism. i do give respect to the heroes of that day and for those who gave unselfishly volunteering there time.
ReplyDeleteThe focus will change.
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with you regarding tomorrow Grammy.
ReplyDelete(as well they shall yeah)

There is Cinn and the decade is now over. What Jade/Sharon had mentioned was much of what the good ( I must say good ) talks which were made.
ReplyDeleteAn I am not into the pollidrama but I realized that Sunday there were other things which were important as well - which had included from the day
before meeting up with Shannon Tweeds sister...I knew that I might go backwards rather than forwards and I there was just that opt to not do it so
I decided that this fellow friend of mine take pictures and I had wrote enough and thought with regards enough too what happened 10 years ago.
Yet on the positive side I was elated in what is taking place within the future with two bands as well as one large band.
Choices - mine were to forget about 9/11 and do something which is a dream which is right now within the making.
