Coffee Talk

Now it's been a long time since I have come on within the morning - but wishing you all well. I headed to bed early as I wished to get up early this morning as I have one important meeting. I am not sure if you have noticed but the days are so much shorter. It's 5am here and I am on my laptop and it's still pitch black outside.

The weather came to be colder in the mornings now people are wearing winter like clothing - especially the students as some do bike it to school. So it's a cooler time of the year. I can't say I fancy it as I don't. However come the weekend according to the weather people - we shall head back up into the 70's. That I can live with and it would be bliss if it would stay that way and then warm up after January. But the likelyhood of that happening are like a cat changing it's diet and deciding to fetch dog bones.

President Obama has come out with a new stimulus package and well that's too be questioned as this buy everything in America takes us right back to what was done right before 2008 and the recession. But such is life and I don't know about you but there have you ever noticed at times that your focusing on the same things as you were two years ago? I do when it comes to all this econony stuff and often when I see the news it seems like it's groundhog day - revolving every month - for that matter even within weeks. The one area within the news is this new book that Jacquie O came out with. Last night I was listening and reading some of the quotes from here book and who would have ever known.

Any how I wish you all a good morning and to those across the pond I wish you a good eve. My confession is I am picky as heck with socks when it comes to this time of the year. Socks can't be too thick, they need to be the right length.

So I wish you the best and regardless of what the time is in your time. I wish you a good one within the day or within the eve.

Chow for now....

  1. Good Morning Jack. Washington and all Politicians are fighting hard to keep the good old boy under the table dealings happening in Washington DC and the American people for the most part are realizing the politicians are the problem. All of the stimulus packages would have worked better if they had just given it back to the people and not their pet projects and their cronies and the people that paid for their elections.

  2. Good morning, Jack. I was surprised by Jackie's granddaughter's comments. Guess they expected her to gave been more like they are now. 50 years of re-writing history changes viewpoints.

  3. Yes, I have noticed the shortening days. There is a risk of frost so I have been closing the greenhouse at night.

I also find it's not easy to get the "right" socks.

As for politics repeating, there's a verse in The Revelation of Arès about that:
"The senate of the dead, the senate go down (into the grave). The (next) senate grasp the tail of the (same) cow (that) moos." (xxxv/1-2)

We have to change--this system (started by Adam) is not working.

  4. Truly DJ now is that time where the right socks are of worth :)
I do need to look at this DJ yet the system is in dire straits. It's the same thing
which was done within 2008 and it's a pity yet I don't this cow certainly is moooing.
Yet there is a repeat again and no departures or changes of that of the new.
