Today was getting things set up within this office again. As my server is different to that of the service provider which for some reason I could not get this other servers address here. So I ended up heading down to the main office and there after I left it up for another day and just saved what I was doing on my laptop. Wi-Fi it’s not that easy yet I called the company and I have yet to hear from them but it can wait for another day. As for the weather it was pouring out this morning and we really have not had the summer which we usually get here for the most part the sun comes out within the late afternoon. It’s been a busy day as well there is something to be said to being climatized. I used to be so used to the humid weather combined with the hot and within the last few years I can honestly say that I humidity is something which literally dries me out.
A routine is that of worth when its merits do measure some worth. The world is a little heavy right now as within my life I have never seen the greed within a government. Ok I said it and I am astonished with how this polarized situation is happening within America. I didn’t wish to speak on politics but for the life of me I can’t see how two parties can’t work it out when a country shall go into default unless there is an agreement. Now if I was within one of either party I would place away my own agenda and think more in accord to what is best economically for a country. I miffs me to be honest on how this has all plaid out. You would think by now that both parties and would come to some agreement yet for the life of me I can’t see where their heads are at.
One can look at it this from either side but one thing is for certain are that default equates to bankruptcy. Now is there some poliplay in this of which surpasses this. I don't think so. I think that within this negotiation which is going on it's a shame that there can't be some leverage. Leverage is far better than NOTHING. Yes there can be the blame of parties or either side but when you cut to the chase negotiations are not for the power of one party over another - it's about doing what is appropriate within micro and macro means of economics. I honestly find it to be the worst situation handled by both sides. I promised I would not write on politics but for the first time in the history of America the bond markets are about to fall for the first time in the history of America and Bernanke has already indicated there are two weeks and then America goes into default.
I am not going to do a back up on where I was born nor do I have the need. The freedoms that are there can so quickly take a change. I can certainly see how frustrated both parties are but there seems to be no desire to make any move. And when any country goes into default the power of the dollar literally has no worth. What are these appointed people in government thinking and whom are they thinking for? Is it for the sake of politics and power that they are missing the trees from the forest? It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure this one out. I promised myself I would not focus on politics but last night I literally just thought of this term called polidiculus and as of recent I just realized how important these meetings are. I would hope that those which are the most influential people are not considering their own agendas - rather they are thinking and realize how close an economic crisis by default and bankruptcy is just thirteen days away. What I do see is an economic crisis on the verge. I never looked at things within politics in this way. As well I promised myself I would not get into this till I saw where things are right now. Yet this is probably the most troubling time in America. It’s not tiring to see this now, it’s important to see this now and I hope some good think tank are up there on the Hill, as with no bill passed, there shall be no money and right now the bond market is ready to fall for the first time within the history of United States of America.
The fact is that if negotiations are not achieved regardless of the means and ways. Bankruptcy is a certainty. And the one thing which is certain which has been made prudently by many economists of both parties – is that an economic crisis is on the horizon. That is a certainty. Where are the brains within these negotiations? I never saw anything like this only when I remember the Nixon years and as a kid I remember sitting in the car and seeing the likes of twenty cars waiting to get gas. It’s the one crisis that ever came close to this. Yet this one if it does happen shall be far beyond the scopes of an oil crisis. My hopes are politics or politidiculous cease and desist. And rather than posture day after day, they try and get it done - they owe that much to the people whom elected them to hold an office and use there brains.
I love the parts of America of which I know and the friends I have. But I don’t buy into this stupidity which is happening on the backbones of the country. I am not the only one that I can assure you.
The saddest part of it is seeing America the land of the free goes bancrupt. I can't fathom how did it happened. As being a child then a foreign service college student :) - this point is the last thing i would imagine.
ReplyDeleteam sad Jack, really. I hope out of the blue some good things come out of this.
I'm not sad I was not going to write on this and then when I looked at all that is at stake as well as a mention from a few. It seemed to me that there was more to this - I spoke with an economics prof friend of mine and I came to realize how these next two weeks are of such importance. I waivered as I didnt wish to write on the drama but I believe that all which represent a nation certainly do have a calling of the upmost within these next two weeks.
ReplyDeleteAmerica has never went into default, nor has it ever had a situation whereby the bond market may decline. You would think that as well as hope that these
educated people render the merits of the placement of which they represent can and shall make this all work out as it's not too late.
I hope those economics czar as we call it find a remarkable agreed best ways to remedy the situations America is in. There is still a brighter future ... America is america.
ReplyDeleteAmerica is America yet from over here from the Artic to the Antartica their is a bond and tremendous bond of one nation to another and last night while I was blogging on here Cille had mentioned something to me that left a thread. As she is of a native decent, it was along the lines of we all are within the same fabric. And I do believe within this.
ReplyDeleteAm just a tad being emotional here Jack. As am following FoxNews. Truth, America is if I may backbone of every nations. And whatever happens to her it will be felt by majority. And am sure every nations are following it closely. Did you watch launching of Atlantis Jack ... i felt a little thingy, not for anything else, not for drama. I have grown watching every satellites being launched by your country. If it was the last one, then somehow a thing died there. I don't know if you get me ... it's how i put it.
ReplyDeleteThe most noteable things which have been predominant are that of The United States, this was not her first name but yes Atlantis I did watch and record. I was down there as a kid at Giffiths Airforce Base and to see that and everything there was something. So I do care of what is and once again nearly every innovation within what was called the "new world" was really started within the USA. So there have always been great ties between these two countries.
ReplyDeleteAs it is and my desire is for it not to be lost. Call me old school.
There's a great meaning to that old school. It's better for us all to keep that in us somehow. For that old norm comes better understanding and wisdom a lot now don't have. A good morning from here.
ReplyDelete... goodnight :)
And to you the very same...
ReplyDeleteThis is truly a worrying situation. If the richest Country in the world can't get it's finances in working order then how do we expect the poorer countries to do the same.
ReplyDeleteThe world is dependent on the U.S. doing well. After all they are the richest country in the world are they not?
To think in thirteen days (a rather unlucky number) that the United States won't be able to pay their debts is completely ridiculous.
Another news item that is cause for concern is Japan's nuclear disaster. We aren't being told what is going on. And that is a big worry too.
We are lucky to be living in Canada because we seem to have avoided a lot of the money woes that other countries have been facing of late.
Although you promised not to talk politics sometimes it is necessary to break your promises in certain situations.
I am wondering if they do go bankrupt what is going to happen. All the people on social security, welfare and disability will be affected. It will be terrible if they let it comes to that.
I think that this shall be the very first time where politics take a backside and the election is not one of concern, but the areas of economic maintainence shall play a prominent roll as they had been built up over the years. So in many ways this can be a good thing and perhaps all the propoganda which is not typical as extreme as within America might very well come to a halt. And the reasoning of the foundation of what the forefathers of America set up shall again come to be the mission in a more concise manner ....but right now it's all too important for think tanks and former american officials to come into play with all this as some all ready have. As far as solving the worlds problems for the very first time may very well take a back seat which is not morally what America has been about - yet I would tend to believe that Americans wish to have their country back this is a serious situation but it can literally end up being one in which the average American has wished for - for many years now. I don't believe President Obama is to blame here, I think he is literally on the mark as he is rendering along with a few former presidents as well with Condalisa Rice, Sentor and President Clinton and as mentioned Prime Minister Haper. But you asked if it would have an impact on other nations including Canada. It would. Canada survived was the example for the very last recession yet I think as of tonight President Obama is not in the mood for politics I think the man has and is doing the best and the people at large can't expect him to solve everything as nor can the Republicans.
ReplyDeleteThere are many ideologists that have wrote on this but when it comes down to it America is proud, I know how that is as it's part of what America is but over the weekend I believe that there are going to be more people in Washington from within and from other nations behind closed doors if there isnt a decision which is announced before Sunday.
The best could come out of this. Yet if there is a persistence of postures for political elections. Then I think some of these people that are within office are going to see some leaders of nations that have lents trillions of dollars come into town. And I would dare to say that right now as it stands. This weekend might very well be the most productive in Washington D.C.'s history. As it's not just a debate. This is the economy of a country.
End note here - the international community will not let America go bankrupt as well there shall be some right offs especially China. As much as China is seen as a dictatorship. They are the largest and yet very solvent countries within the world. So I think that this is going to come out but it might not come out in a manner of the way we have seen in the past. But I am not sure the average American realizes all that is at stake. And that's part and parcel of how the media can play things to the left and right. I would bet as mentioned that over the weekend many things take place in Washington.
ReplyDeleteMaybe just maybe the foundation as well as reason shall return which maintains the American way. And one which I do dearly love as much as I love Canada.
It's late and the wording is terrible but my prediction is that Republicans which are trying to utilize this (big mistake) as a means for the next election have already made several mistakes. It's hard to pay back and bring down monies owing and render a cohesive economy where you rate of return is upwards rather than faltering. When politics enter economies they don't mix. I think for the last month this has been ongoing at the cost of getting things done.
ReplyDeleteThe fact is the GOP allowed for several years to borrow and borrow and then Greenspan thought by way of giving hand outs the economy would relinquish. Greenspan as wise as he was made the worst advisement within his term. Since that time with the continued borrowing to keep the economy afloat the imports have been larger than the exports. After the Bush era, which was very very costly combined with other areas of which money was spent was not spent with a grounded economy. Then a new leader which comes into it all, takes on some measures of which were thought to bail out companies. Look at Ford. Two years prior to the recession he took measures and unlike other companies never required any assistance. The housing market was artificially inflated where anyone could buy a house. The banking system has never gave out loans so liberally. Yet that happened. What was thought to be a stimulus was anything but.
At this time I do believe that as of today there shall be some time spent by both parties within the Senate. The President has the imperial right to make a decisions at times of war, but not with any other area. Thus far it's been a debate and posture between two parties. Republicans don't wish to agree to any terms as it seems.
Owed monies are owed monies and for years now they have built up and a country is not producing as much as it's borrowing. With all things concerned. I would summarize that within Washington things will take place. Hypothetically if United States declared default. The international community would be effected as well.
It shall take both parties to forget about the politics and think about uniting on this one. As they can't afford to do otherwise. All in all it could very well be decisions which are not taken so well. It shall cost the President his presidency as he is attending matter of which were partially his own. But for the most part the borrowing took place after President Clinton. Where at that time the economy was it the best shape it had been in two decades I believe.
So here in the current times there are some very hard decisions to be made but that shall be a necessity in order to bring about more solvency and can it be done? Yes and what I do believe is that there are many things which are being brought into play. I do think that two parties can unite at times like this. As for all the sensationalism rather than realism which the media has played a huge part in especially of recent. I think we shall see announcements this weekend.
As well, I think that the nations around the world some of wish are doing very well do wish to assist. And the countries which have loaned out the most shall write off some debts only if they see a solid financial plan. That takes both parties and if they can muster up and work together well I don't know why they hold the positions of which they sit.
If I had to make a prediction. I would say that by the middle of next week there will be signed papers and then America can get on with it as some are thriving on all of this at the cost of the average citizen. That's not the America I know.
It's so late and I have tried to place my own thoughts with all of this and I don't think it's the end of the world. But I do think that the government does need to render back the meaning of what it is to serve your country. And with that all said I bid you a good night. I wrote allot here as I do believe in America.
ReplyDeleteGood night and God Bless,
Jack
Ouch I think I may have went overboard with this but when I arrived at an office. Seemingly I was rather close. Yet today is now another late afternoon and
ReplyDeletesometimes I believe the truth is hard to digest. But the intention was not of ill manner. Perhaps it was far to late - c'est la vie.
