Has anyone found abnomalities with Yahoo Messenger ( not like I use it often ) but if so what is now different?

    I haven't used it in a while, Jack. But, not the last time I used it. What kind of abnormalities?

    I just turned mine on - nobody online - nothing weird, but then I haven't really tried.

    Yes as the same happened here Karen as it went into this New Yahoo Template.

    I got the new template on my oldest, full of spam, account yet my newer one, spam free, has stayed the same. Just as well as I dislike the new format.

    I use messenger every day and for the last month or so I can't get any sound from it at all I have searched
    all parts of it written to yahoo but so far still no sounds.I am just thinking it could be an incompatibility problem
    with Windows 7

    Tee I enjoy it for mail but I have mail of my main server, then this one, then that one and then another and although
    I have never went back to hotmail, nor this other which I can't recall (getting old)....I like the KISS system - Keep It Silly and Stupid,
    as it works for me. :)

    Now and then I will use my yahoo but only to write and literally write to a few friends but messenger I touched some
    wrong buttons a while ago and I do have the emails so it's kind of nice writing to old friends from times gone by. Gmail
    seems to be the opt of many but the less complicated the better. Ironically this one friend of mine is from Adelaide.

    Hi Rodney, I used to have this group and had a secondary email the one I use is merely for emails but I kid you not there was one
    that mistook me for someone else and there were the files of watergate well this was right up there in a much different manner.
    The person in some manner mistook my id and was in the midst of a relationship problem - but I have this one folder called, "Not Important" - yet at the time when I listened to all of this I thought I had done something wrong. But it was one of those "he says and she says".

    I haven't used 'The Mess' in years. That's what my friends are I started calling it due to all the problems we were having at the time.

    Hi Suzy I hardly use it but ironically there are still many old friends which I do get emails from. As far as Messenger I never could talk and write at the same time. There are times I just check into it but yeah from what I see all technologies are going in several different directions.

    I rarely use yahoo messenger because it seems to be so glitchy so not sure either.
