I kinda think that as of tonight something happened within Washington and maybe just maybe I wasnt off the mark with the long scribble I did the other day. As the Republicans decided to participate with making decisions - that's a big plus.
I kinda' short of knowledge when it comes to politics. I hope the 'Republicans' decided and favour for the betterment of whatever is being discussed and talked about.
if they agree to raise the debt ceiling its just going to get worse in this country!! We are broke people! We can't keep borrowing money we don't have. It WILL end up biting us in the ass!!
I hope the Republicans finally got it that their stance on the debt ceiling and not cutting the tax loop holes for the top 2% of the country wasn't going to help them. While that top 2% contributes the most to their billion dollar campaigns so they must keep them happy and answer to them, the people who do big businesses bidding were going to be the ones hurt - the bottom 98%. Cutting the monthly allotment to people on fixed incomes on Social Security was going to back fire on them because that is the Republican voting strong hold. I have been wondering this all along. The Social Security age vote is the tea parties major demographic. If they hurt their demographic, even though they have convinced these people what they are doing is right, it will come back to bite them. Oh sure people say to cut spending, but that means spending on things that don't affect them. If it affects them, well then no, that's a program we need. They don't get that we can't pick and choose. Nor do they get that they can't keep going after the weaker portion of society, the poor, while constantly backing and supporting the strongest portion of society, the rich. Eventually the scale will tip and those who have been oppressed with say they have had enough. We have watched all spring as this has happened in country after country and they didn't get it.
its got to be hard trying to balance an already shocked budget and system.....I just pray for some kind of stability among both parties that will strengthen the country as a whole, and not just those that have nothing to lose either way.......
yariyara ... giggling here* a lovely words to hear by on this crazy world we are living in. C'es la vie ... as you always puts it. ok now ... time to rest for the eve. Blessings and a tight hugs.
I see now more of what you mean as I don't think it could get any worse. And it effects all and this is not going to go away fast either it shall be felt around the world I am amazed that those whom hold a seat could even keep it as this should have been the first thing on everyones agenda.
