They Say It's Your Birthday...

There is a gentleman on here that is one that some time back I don’t know how it came about but he came on my blog.  I know he values his privacy and most of his entire family is on here.  His name is Charles and he is married and has three children and is a very good man as I see it.

I wished to do something creative, he is outstanding father as well as person.

He celebrated his birthday yesterday and he resides in Oregon.  His views on life are his own the value and the merit that he puts into place within his family as well as what I certainly would presume within his life are something that I am not sure what exact word I could place on it.  All the same he is not a boy, not a man, but a gentleman with a great wife and family.  To summarize him in one word, I can't do, as he is really a sensation and humble.  Family values as well as values within life.  With a respect for those that true is par few these days.  Hence, a Poem for his Charles…

~A Prayer in Spring~ by Robert Frost

OH, give us pleasure in the flowers today;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year.

Oh, give us pleasure in the orchard white,
Like nothing else by day, like ghosts by night;
And make us happy in the happy bees,
The swarm dilating round the perfect trees.

And make us happy in the darting bird
That suddenly above the bees is heard,
The meteor that thrusts in with needle bill,
And off a blossom in mid air stands still.

For this is love and nothing else is love,
To which it is reserved for God above
To sanctify to what far ends he will,
But which it only needs that we fulfill.

Happy Birthday Charles you’re not growing older you’re growing ahead….

  2. I see. I can certainly attest to the goodness in this fellow, I know him quite well. If I can attain to only half of his sincerity and kindness, then God will surely smile at me. Thanks Jack for being his friend.

    How infinitely kind of you.Whatever the national flower of Canada, it's just changed to the Jack Flower.
    So very unexpected. Truly I am not the real gentleman in all of this. You've gone and raised the bar.
    Nevertheless, this is so appreciated.
    Charles

    And thanks to all who've offered your well wishes.

    Jack, thank you for such a thoughtful post. All who Charles' life touches are blessed, and I especially to have known him from the day of his birth.

    Our parents were truly proud of him, which says so much.

    Yet I would agree with him, you too are a gentleman.
