The People You Meet...

I met three men from India, how often there is an array of people from all over that go to this gym I train at and as we were sitting in the steam room we were talking about all the news that has been happening.

Seemingly, they were not reserve we hit it off and then we really engaged in a 20 minute discussion. It was most interesting to engage in a talk of this nature as I gained more of an understanding of there society.

What I found very ironic is that they had the same feelings on international matters. We talked about all the Middle East and they were very decent people. I find that it's so interesting to engage in conversations as such and it's something that it's much more interesting than the news as your getting right from people that lived there.

I can place a finger on it but how within this gym all people merge together and it's both women and men. Not within the steam room mind you but it's still very interesting to come to understand in real life a variety of people.

I asked them what was the one thing that they found so different with Canada. They said that within one year they have never seen it so cold.... taking all into consideration they come from the western region of India and they never have seen snow nor the cold that we went through this year.

  1. It's fun to learn about different cultures. Essentially people are all the same, we just look different.

  2. I find this topic interesting. I live in a mix society of different cultures and religious backgrounds, this in itself an intriguing day-to-day life experiences for me. We live, we share, we learn, we trust and we respect. Simply, we co-exist. I like this term and glad that you had one such experience recently.

    Hugs, Ann.

  5. We all look up into the same moon and stars as well as the sun. It's vary fascinating as we all render something from it. My thoughts as it's not about where we are from it's more about whom we are within the balance of life...
