The Foresty Farm Zoo

Tonight I went to the Forestry Farm Zoo, I can't say that I know much about it as I have never really went there. However I decided I wished to taka some pictures of nature. Which then directed me to this place called the Forestry Farm. First I thought I would get some vantages of sunsets.

Once I was headed on the freeway, I knew where I wished to go. There was a person that was just closing up, as this really is not the season for it yet - but it shall be where many do visit.

For earlier days I had a few other pictures one was of Google mapping out the town. I could not believe it as when the man got out of the car he told me whom he was with and thereafter he placed on a Goggle magnetic door stickers. As I could be wrong but they are supposed to be obtaining the ok - with each and every city as well as the government before they do this mapping.

All said - it was very nice to capture some pictures of nature at the "Farm".

  2. As far as the Forestry Farm goes, are they trying to re-initiate certain types of trees into the environment there, perhaps?

  3. Cal not sure, we have always had a replanting thing that takes place every years for the past 40 years I believe. But as far as within the manner this city was created it was created and expanded very fast and the rural and urban development committee of the city ensure that they would not allow the city to just be taken over by developers.
So there is a bylaw that is in place as it has been the fastest growing city in Canada for several years.

It's only 250,000 thousand people...but within two years they feel that it will be 300,000. So yes there is an infrastructure with this city.

  6. Country roots are something that we all have. It's nice to get away from the "brick and mortar" and just partake with nature...I feel.
