It would be a pleasure to see something come in here as I had some news today and I can't write about it. Life is life....So if you have a music thing or a laughter thing or anything - by all means it's a space open to you.
Something happened here and coupled with some other things needless to say it was unexpected...
Two Pictures I love sent to me by a very kind and nice friend as well, I thank you! Thank you Lise and thank you to each and everyone...
Things happen when we least expect it, yesterday I had no idea what today would bring but I can't make reason of it right now, but I just accept it and I thank you all so much. Denise - you know how much that song does mean to me I than you and the one thing that I do know is that there is good and bad things that do happen in life. But what tomorrow brings will be somthing that I come to understand.
What a day....
Oh, Jack - I hope everything is going to be OK with you..........better than OK! Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteI awoke this morning with devout thanksgiving for my friends, the old and new.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

ReplyDeleteThe emphasis is on "You've got a friend" From Australia to Canada.
Hugs my friend.
A French guest who was staying in a hotel in Edmonton phoned room service for some pepper.
ReplyDelete"Black pepper, or white pepper?" asked the concierge.
"Toilette pepper!"

His friend Randy stops him and asks, "Hey Dave! Whatcha got that case of beer for?"
"Well, I got it for my wife, you see?" answers Dave.
"Wow," exclaims Randy, "Great trade.

ReplyDeleteA father in hospital and a loss of a position....all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI walk beside you despite the distance between us Jack.
ReplyDeleteYou and your loved ones are in my thoughts.
I went to a meeting and then met up with my friend. I will see how things go as I was up early and I will write about this in some manner. All that I can say is that I think that two things happened at the same time and this is not going to be a repeating cycle. I have been to the airport and I have met with another company and as well I had lunch with a good friend - and I don't think you would like this trail right now as it's one that might be a little much but I have been here before and I know the situation with my father and I never expected what came down with my position. I was training a person yesterday that was taking over my job - at the end of the day I was let go. So I could harp on this and wallow, but I am not falling. I will rise above this. Only I can do it.
ReplyDeleteamigo-----as you take a chance and look out the window at bare tree limbs and wrap yourself against the night chill understand that the fallen leaves have done their job and now begin anew as warmth and food for those who will follow so it is with us------circles amigo always circles---si? we replenish through tears so let them flow ....we grow through questions and we thrive on the certainty that uncertainty is ever present----is the way it is ---so we be.....and through your being you have shared and allowed another to accept and be------so you see------your truth has given warmth and food and comfort---------gracias for your words and your open heart
ReplyDeleteNot knowing you at all .... all I can send is a song... its a french song (warned you I'm totally french hehehe) that speaks of personal trials and hard moments. Its a vid I made this last spring of pictures I took on my birthday..... over looking the chateau Frontenac shown in your lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteEnergies for a better tomorrow
I don't have a song. I don't have laughter. All I have is some wise words.
ReplyDeleteThis too shall pass.
You are so right babykatg. I wish I had thought to say that. I am thinking of you, Jack, and hoping things get better soon.
ReplyDeleteSi always cycles and circles si...et Iamnada - I understand yesterday I was literally in shock. Today I have slowly accepted everything and I do know that this shall pass. I can see that Catherine mentioned this.
ReplyDeleteI found comfort and understanding in just getting on with my day. This is the best that I can do. And I can understand the tree limbs and what you are saying and I am not in a transition. I am within the true realm of truth.
I thank you for your words...si!
Mimi ironically I have never been there in Quebec. The pictures of Frontenac were from a friend from this blogosphere they were not my own. But this is definately francaise - mais oui in a very interesting manner. As many people do not understand the culture of the french culture of Canada that have been here for 400 years.
ReplyDeleteI thank you, merci......
Good words Katherine really good word - thank you....from Alberta to Florida....
ReplyDeleteTime tells all....within time we all come to know - then what ever comes about - we or I, take it back into determination....
ReplyDeleteDenise they need one guy in there to sing in with them!
ReplyDeleteI've just read your update of events. You didnt get in touch with me so I wasnt aware at all. How is your father doin? Secondly, quite the shock on the loss of position. We're never quite perpared for the unexpected nor the expected for that matter. You're a strong deep determined man. I know you will prevail over this. My thoughts are with you and your family as well. Hugs my friend ~
ReplyDeleteMy family I have not heard from - but in being there I will prevail. Some people do walk on by, but within all that I don't mind. Silence is golden when under a situation and when you come out of it - how often I have seen SOME, not you take it a different way. As of today I have not had a call but yesterday he is and was ok.
ReplyDeleteI stand alone in what I do Nancy....not due to hatred due to circumstances that involve one member of my family.
Sending you some supporting thoughts, friend of mine. Gosh, I do so hate to read of the unpleasantness you have to go through. Hang tough, hang tough. You will make ith through. Hugs for you!
ReplyDeleteI am and thank you Sue a Christmas Card has been sent.
