Por moi ~ No Se ~

Within everyone a great week ahead.....now and then I will make a communication without saything that much - this is one of my favorite movies. This was a true story that Denzel took on and even though it was conterversial he did make it. The character was a real person.

He and the producers compliment Mexico as it brought out some things that do exist in Mexico and other parts of Latin America.

"Chrisy" finds himself after leaving the military and coming to find himself by way of being a body guard for a young girl. Certainly there are some areas that "Chrisy" abides by one of which is giving up drinking and then when something is taken from him which is this young girl in the end that is kindnapped which is a common thing that does take place in Latin America. He then reverts to doing what he was trained for.

This is no slander on Latin America or Mexico. I love it there. As well, in each and every country there is something that does take place. That is society. But this movie which came out some time back is one that I have never forgotten.

The name of the movie is "Man on Fire". It's not about violence - it is more about one that does what he is trained to do, although he is passive when there is someone that is close to him that has been kidnapped he takes it into his own hands and comes to clean up what is commonly know as the currupt "brotherhood". Thereafter he rejoins the young girl with the mother.

  1. There is a word in latin america - called the hermanidad, if I recall it well. It means the brother hood that is full of curruption within the police force and military - not the people. The people often feel so ashamed about whom they are because people do not understand whom they are.

I know within this movie post there are about 7 different videos after they are finished. Within the movie he was lost till at some point he found himself after all that he had done. My best of friends offline have indicated the same to me. So I can relate to Denzel, but I am not him, I am me. I have learned from a trail of the past and where I take it is where I last "Par Ardua Ad Astra".

  2. This is no slander on the people of Mexico or Latin America.

Denzel Washington made a film to make an impact and it did not do that well at the box office whe it came out but it was a very well done film that was realistic.
Par ardua ad astra - means through all adversity shoot for your stars.

Denzel is an actor and a very good one in the way that he studies the role before he takes it on. Within this movie the character finds himself by way of one friend and then one girl that he is being a body guard for. But there is so much more to it.

Yo se - means I know, Yo no se, means I no nothing....No se means really a mention of just nothing...
