Real friends can be remarkable in helping you stick to your plans, whatever they may be. You can even encourage each other to go for your dreams. Some friends can act as obstacles, even without knowing so. And then there are some that have sat on the fence far too long and will indicate that what ever you wish to do - it just can't be done, or why bother.
They are "stale mates" and you might need to stay clear of them. That does not mean anger it means utilizing your own discretionary wisdom. If you can get the people around you that relinquish some of your thoughts as well as honestly give their own ideas without telling what you should do – that is what makes the difference.
Maintaining your own direction is what success. Ensemble people that share. Within any goal in life or situation obtaining wisdom from others can be validating as well as realistic.I have always stuck with my own planning all my life or probably since I was 18 and I found that in knowing whom you can honestly, and as well frankly have a constructive communications is what is key. Stick to your plans; so check your mates and family to find those who can really help you stay motivated. That is not pity for that is empowerment. For whatever you wish to do within life. There is not person in the world that didn’t ask questions to obtain their goals. The one's that in life thought they knew it all and some obtained success some stayed in the same stage they were five years ago.
Empowerment is not just about validation - running your own "inner" marathon - if it's worth it. That is something that we all do by way of choice.
very insightful! Thanks for the reminder.........

ReplyDeleteFor me, a true friend is one who listens to me and speaks kindly to me but who is also capable of reprimanding me when I do something wrong or stupid.” Yes I think, our best friends—whether they are young or old—are those who help us to stay headed in the right direction and who correct us when we are about to do unwise things. I like friends who strengthen me morally and spiritually, Some friends have helped me tremendously to keep my balance.
Very nice blog--well written
I thought of this we are connected by way of what is called the internet, but within all of that there too are friends. Some will be friends and some won't regardless of the time. A few good friends is something that is remote.
ReplyDeleteBut very worthwhile...
How'd you get to be so smart?
ReplyDeleteYou speak wise words, Jack. Good food for thought!
G'day Jack,
ReplyDeleteA good friend is like an extention of ourselves, therefor to have them we must always be the best friend we can
True friends are hard to come by and still like you when you don't like yourself. A good reminder, Jack, of their importance. Hope your week is going well. BTW loved your bunny video.
ReplyDeleteThe Gift of a Real Friend
ReplyDeleteA friend is one of the nicest things you can have,
and one of the best things you can be.
A friend is a living treasure,
and if you have one, you have one of
the most valuable gifts in life.
A friend is the one who will always be beside you,
through all the laughter,
and through each and every tear.
A friend is the one thing you can always rely on;
the someone you can always open up to;
the one wonderful person who always believes
in you in a way that no one else seems to.
A friend is a sanctuary.
A friend is a smile.
A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter where you are,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there
and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.
A friend is the one door that is always open.
A friend is the one to whom you can give your key.
A friend is one of the nicest things you can have,
and one of the best things you can be.

ReplyDeleteThank you as mentioned I had gone on a trip and the value of friends is something I am going to write about. I just arrived back today. I was up at 5am. And when I got home the first thing was throwing my clothes in the laundry and then taking a one hour rest! It feels like it's 7pm!
ReplyDeleteThank you - we all have something from which to share....~jgs
