Everyone Has a Fav Song

If you had two from which to pick - what really would be your fancy as a favorite song? You can partake in it or we can do something unique.

But it will take a little bit of time. maybe from your end  as well as mine.

If you wrote your own song or lyrics that is all right as well. When I as young around the age of 7, I did this song called "Sandy"...

She is someone that now lives in Florida..and I have never met her since we were kids.

If you have one or two songs that you feel are great about write me as you wish.

For now I wish you a great week.

Jack

Amendment December 1...

I think that not all really gathered what I was getting at. What I was trying to say is that if you have a favorite song, a video or otherwise - if, and that is a big IF, you wish to place it so be it. I think that during this these times we have seen all too much of the situations of the world. You don't have to partake, if you want to write something or anything else so be it.

I am not looking to do anything more that bring about something in a positive manner during these time. I will go on and write as I have done, but I will come back to this and in a different manner near the season come back to it. I am not one to use utube that much but when people can see the thread of what they like. It's something that may be worthwhile. Each one of us has our own ways. I am not pushing anyone to do anything unless they wish too. I will come back to favorite songs.

As when all is happening within the world sometimes it's good to get away from all of it. As I believe.

  1. Songs? What is a song?

Or are we talking music in geeneral.

    Or maybe they are different.

My favorite piece of music is Dvorak's Ninth Symphony. Of course there is no singing there.

Okay, something with lyrics? Nussen Dorma. Well, that is in Italian. Does that count?

    Or do you mean popular?

  3. My most favorite song ever is "House of the Risin' Sun" by Eric Burdon and the Animals. I don't know why really, it just speaks to me. There are many, many songs I love but this one always has been my favorite. Well, that is my favorite since it was released in like 1965 or whenever............

  7. In a simple manner...and then now I am thinking that everyone has the ability to post within a blog a song. Last night I had the hardest time to bring up any songs.
For myself, there is no snow here but I am thinking of the season and Christmas....It's only a few weeks away!

  8. No worries with a cup of coffee - what I mean is just a favorite song or two.
That combined with the season I thought that might be interesting.
On of my favorite songs is Paul McCartney's song, "Band on the Run".
My favorite song for this time of the year is " White Chirstmas"....

  12. Would have loved in my lifetime to hear Pavorotti sing.....

  13. This could be a blog that is too much at this time as many wish to do there own thing. I can completely understand this as it's a time where most are "going here and there" with all that come with the season...

  14. Hmmm favorite song of all time, maybe Hotel California, no one has beaten that guitar riff. For the xmas season, Little Drummer Boy...Is Ave Maria a xmas song? Cause that one, by Pavoratti, always makes my hair stand straight up.

  15. Hotel California by the eagles yes. Ave Maria I am not sure is considered a song for the season but it allway comes up during the holiday season. Thank you...

  17. Yeup... Apocalyptica performing Metallica, the BEST!!!
I see you got it... nice.

  18. The song above is not all that bad....it's not with regards to the season, but it's a sound that says much!
It's about unity ....KISS when they took off the make up were a band that was actually a great group of musicians.
Gene did his thing - but the lead singer is a great musician and they were second to the Beatles .....
If you listen to the lyrics....it's about Unity...
There was a band named "Syracuse" that at the finality of it all all the favorite Beatle songs were done and as well, I made sure that I did this one. There is factually a video out there. The producer's name I am not sure of but then again I am not sure I would really wish for it to be out there on the internet. But the song has meaning if you listen to it. Many were confused with what to place on. We all have at least one song that we loved or love...

  20. North Europe... Finland!!!
    Rakastan Suomi!!!

  21. Why not......it's the band I grew up with....then go grew older got and so did they. But they never did drug, they were a band that was so misunderstood yet on the top. Right now the only one that still does record, but never really needs to if he did not want to is the lead singer "Paul", and he met with McCartney of several occassions. Go figure a guy from Queens meeting the person he looked up to in England...

  22. This is for you wolf and it's a great song I remember seening Micheal Bolton do it in times Square and it seems to be something done during the season yes...All are different forms of muic but it's obvious that there is no one like him. He is gone but he still remains in some or four souls....Music is an expression.

  23. Thank you I did and seems they are rock but combined with more talents that just playing a guitar and drums.....I don't like Metallica, never did, but I like this!

  24. It's so annoying not being able to watch these....I'll have to wait another few days to get my speed back.
I don't really have a favorite but many have meaning for one reason or another. I do like "What a Wonderful World" for anytime of the year.

  25. I know Denise I was thinking of this when I placed them on.....in a few days I think you will really like the last two and be able to see.
I am or if time allows I am going to do a write but as well - I extend a great season. "Something is on it's way" from Santa!".

  31. Thanks initiative. I saw him sing this song in an old, old movie and when he did the song it was at a moment of total grief and loss and, MAN, it was something else.

  32. My Favorite Christmas song is one by country singer Garth Brooks called "The Gift". It is not wildly popular like some of his other songs, but it speaks of a poor orphan girl named Maria, who finds a bird with a broken wing. She spends her last peso on a cage and feeds it and nurtures it. Then it is late on Christmas Eve and she has no offering to bring to the manger, but a voice in the darkness askes her if the bird in the cage is the offering and asks her to open the door to the cage. She does and the bird flies up to the rafters. The midnight bells ring and the brid starts to sing and that is the very first Nightingales' song. It is such a beautiful song and doesn't bring out the commercial aspect of Christmas that I seem to get so tired of each year.........

  33. Garth was great and is great I am not much into country he was, but he was inspired by one group. I will look up this "gift". He is a great man that seemed to have a handle on things tiger.
I wish I could see the song......
