Simple Write on the Royal Wedding

Today was a day were I went shopping around to look for a camera. There is such an array and selection out there. I myself keep thinking of needs verses wants. Ironically on the way home. I went to get a few groceries and low and behold for some reason this one camera works only within this panoramic setting. That entirely baffled me as to how strange it was that only within panoramic mode would it work so all said, before I venture and buy me another I am going to just see how this works out.

The Royal wedding took place and that I find is something interesting as just imagine how that would be to live within the entire entourage? The Queen herself, I think has been the longest living Queen and that was an entirely different time. It would be something to just be able to have a glimpse of the very thoughts of Queen Elizabeth II. She has been at the reign for nearly 60 years. Now this is allot of history to say the least. Ironically it seems that she has never looked old. She doesn't look like she is tired of here position. Perhaps it's the duties of which she keeps her fulfilled as you would think that at a certain time even the Queen would come to be tired.

The history of all that she has seen. It would be amazing to see things through here mind's eye. As she has lived throughout more history within a position as such. It would be something unimaginable if you ask me. As for one person to have not only lived but carried out all the duties that go along with her position.

Seemingly the monarchy is that of a tradition now. Not the same way in which is was within the yester years. However, there was a time where the monarchy did have power and for the most part now it's a traditional thing which still carries on. Somethings within our society change so fast and this is one of those areas which still stands within the tests of time. Mind you their is no real authoritative power. But I am sure that there are several areas in which they do place their efforts in.

Today seeing this marriage, reminded me of back during the time of Charles and Lady Diana. How they captivated the entire world. And here William and Kate within some point in time will carry on this tradition of the monarchy. When I took the time to look at the pictures of the entire celebration of the wedding. I can't even begin to describe the thoughts that come to mind.

It's english, it's something that truly baffles the mind. To be their would have been something. All the colors and and the formalities. I guess it's something that is what is called royal. Aside of that everything within the world goes on but this was a different sort of day within a global perspective as it was a celebration. Something of international interest which was on the positive side. I think there is something to be said about something as such as good news, good events are less often than often.

Tonight I am going to watch this as it's apart of history and something that which has taken place within ones lifetime. I never really knew what royalty was for myself it's hard to really desifer what royal means within our society these days. Yet when you look within a few pictures of it all it's fascinating to say the very least.

  3. What happened to lady Diana should never have happened.
It is sad that her boys had to grow up without a mom.
I hope that with the stresses of being royal couples Their formal title will be the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. I It was interesting seeing all of the hats and outfits. Where do the English get their sense of style from.
I just can't get over some of the hats. Like the ones that Princess Beatrice was wearing. Strange. I just don't understand that sort of ornamentation.
Here in Toronto people go for tattooing and piercings.
But, my husband was born in England and his mom and sister live there. So, for all we know his mom and sister got to see the festivities up close and personal.
My mothers side of the family were United Empire Loyalists. They came up from the states and centered themselves in Quebec at first and then moving to the Ottawa Valley area.
The queen of England has the same initials as I do so I tend to feel a little Royal myself. My hubby is Al Roy which is Royal backwards.
My mother is the same age as queen Elizabeth. So, I know what it is like to be raised by someone of the queen's generation.
I am a big queen Victoria fan. For some reason I love the holiday quite a bit. I even got engaged during the Victoria Day weekend twenty-three years ago.
I hope that Kate and William will be happy and that should get them through all of the pressures that being royal will entail.
I am sure they love each other so that will conquer all. Hopefully, a little luck will help too.
    :)

  4. It was quite a splendid spectacle as always, but not without some opposition. A number of people were arrested for "pre crime thoughts" ~ peaceful protesters who wished to hold anti monarchy parties were locked up in jail for 24hours ~ and it is the UK taxpayers money that supports the monarchy and foots the bill for the security as well ~ at a time when there are savage "austerity cuts" to public spending, not every Briton supports the monarchy.

  5. I kind of like the imagery of your camera only doing the "wide angle" stuff!

  6. I loved everuy minute of the Royal Wedding Jack and you have done a good job of writing about it here.
    In particular this...

  7. ... all i can say is that 'i love Lady Diana'. Anyways, i was glued on FOXNEWS for a late coveraged of her son William's wedding to Kate. It was liked putting myself to a some kind of a fairy book. It was such a pretty sight seeing the son happily getting married to his true love Kate. A wonderful love story indeed. And colours beautifully splended all around.

  9. When I think of Charles and Diana I think of a funny story from my grandmother. She got an invitation because she is a cousin of the Queen. While most people would have been thrilled to have an invitation my grandmother was miffed. First she lives in the US and was up in years so she knew it was a courtesy invitation. Second and I will just have to use her words. "You know they just sent this to me because they want a gift and what in the bloody hell do you get the future King of England?" My aunt got an invitation to Will's wedding and her comment about the matter is that "the Royals have been demoted to being England's human zoo. All they are good for is the public to stare and watch." After that comment maybe I saw the wedding in a different light then most.

  10. Wow, I can't believe they really did that.
But, then Canada hosted the G8 and G20 so I have an idea of what goes on during these sorts of events.
