There are differences as well as great similarity between Canada and the United States. Over the past week, there were several polls going on with fiscal matters and the relationship between the United States and Canada. I often find that there are comparable as well as there are differences. It's what we inherit within our countries.

Some shall laugh but I have often reinforced this by way of making mention that I was raised in America and the two countries which I consider as being home are within these two. Of recent online there were several questions which were asked on both American and Canadian sites. Predominantly those which were of a good quality and of the likes that gave for much to think about.

Hence I thought I would ask friends and friends of friends this one question as there are several sites which do have a Question of the day segment to them. This morning there was something that brought about this one thought or question. I shall retain your submission & once I feel that it's come to it's conclusion I shall then open up and show without names as to what were the answers and percentages within.

During the election which is going on up here I do appreciate your mention. It's not to create dissension - actually to the contrary. So I hope you don't mind if I do ask and request answer. I would hope that there is a good cross section of answers from people from United States of America, Canada and even democratic countries from abroad. This is not a political question it's a question which gives an idea on how people see things from their own corner of the world.  I truly assure this is not a big deal, it's leading into something.

I truly appreciate your participation especially to all those which are friends as well as others and I would appreciate if this stay within that realm of respect. I do hope you may afford me a moment of your time.

Hence, this Monday's - QUESTION OF THE DAY

  1. American culture has always been based on it's own "Melting Pot" system. Canada on the other hand is Multicultural.
As for the way the rich spend their money is an individual thing I would think.
The richest in the world are the at the top of the pyramid and the poorest at the bottom. For Americans and Canadians alike.
Canadians have always wanted to remain Canadian and at the same time getting the best from both worlds.
I don't know if I've answered your questions but hopefully I am not too off topic.
    Ta.

  2. Regardless of this Erika I just arrived home and truly I am looking towards what many think. It's not Canadian based it's really American and
Canadian based. The question has clarity. So for those that do wish it would be nice as I am not looking for bating any people and the promise
as before I was offline was to have some thoughts or a remark. Some might feel this is creating desention I look at it as just doing a mere poll/question.

  5. it depends on your depiction of wealthy. If we are talking material then i would have to say that even that would be different as funds are appropriated differently. As i see the finances are differently dispersed worldwide. ie. what is expensive in one country is not and vice versa in another. in realms of dreams, i would think that each strives to utilize those finances to attain that which is their desire. hopefully, in the stream of it all, the wealthiest are giving back to society and promoting peace and humanity. the question ultimately becomes more complex and tiered depending on the criteria of the wealth. Interesting question.

  6. Thank you Cinn, as there was a reason I wished to post this within this morning right now the monetary dollar in both countries is eqaul. The question still stands and it's not with any malice. It does lead into a project I have been working on. Thank you for a wise mention. As well a very new picture you do have. I thank you. ~ gasping ~ :)

  7. Thank you jack:) xxx.

Based on what you have said I would have to answer no. The dollar value may be equal but the distribution of funds is different. Ie healthcare, gas, etc.

  8. I don't know a lot about Canadian wealth distribution in exact numbers but i do know it is a more equitable society that did not go mad for banking and mortgage deregulation as the USA did before 2008. Therefore Canadians have to be doing a better job.

  9. I am more thinking of does the the wealthiest Canadian spend within the same manner as an American. All things are based on a per capita basis.
Hence again this I wish to expand on this and it's a little project I have been working on.

  11. What about the gross national product? I would again think it would then be broken down again into regions.

  12. Within this question I wish to just see what the consensus is with the comparison of America's wealthiest and Canada's wealthiest spending characteristics within a basic manner. The Gross National Product would be another question/topic of consideration.
