I like having options. I also have a facebook account because so many of my family are members, however, this blog is set up far more superior, much more to my liking and my purposes. A agree, we were taken by surprise, but, Click, off now.
I was surprised too. I saw it earlier in the day then forgot about it I logged on early evening and I didn't remember till I started getting messages. I don't think it's a bad thing IF there are ways to change settings. I have my multiply set up so it doesn't show when I am or am not offline nor does it keep a history of when I am online and the way the messenger is it comes on online so that defeats that purpose lol. Even though you can turn it off anyone that is on chat can see you come and go. I'm not trying to be rude by keeping private settings it's because when I am blogging or reading or commenting I want to concentrate on what I am doing at my own pace and not be rude by taking forever to answer chat messages :-)
I do not think for a second that Multiply is anything like Face Book. I have FaceBook for my family in Michigan is on it but it is pretty much worthless for blogging and having your page the way you want it..Multiply far surpasses face book. I don't really care for facebook itself but I stay on it for some family and friends and it is at least another way to keep in touch with them. I like Multiply , the settings on the blogs and videos, everything is so easy to use. You can pick and choose with each new entry who you want to share with or not. If Multiply was like face book I wouldn't have stayed
I met some nice people on multiply too I'm keeping it
Cheryl yes we do we certainly have that option. Facebook was invented by a Canadian but from it's inception as in my previous posts I would not touch facebook beside, I embrace the friends I do have but what I am finding that there is merit within it. The chat of multiply that is.
I agree...it takes away from what this site is
ReplyDeleteBut they didn't however there is a manner that you can turn it off if so desired...
