The Hottest day on Record

There is hot and then there is really hot today was the hottest day on record here. It's just starting to cool down. It's one thing to be warm but it's another to have such extreme heat. Within the afternoon while I was on my way home I had to pull over and take a look at what was going on and it was a Cree ceremony of some sorts.

I am not all that familiar with the native or aboriginal ways with the exception that they really were the first people here within these new lands.

It's just something I thought I would share as I have never come across this within a long time. We always think what is best for our countries and yet societies as such were the very first to be here.

As far as the heat it was over and above what one would be accustom to for this time of the year.

Yet I certainly can't complain.

  9. Well it was the second hottest day on record....and now this morning here it's gone to being cooler - and more of the Autumn mild temperatures for this time of year. Yesterday was just too hot as you don't glide into it. But this morning is nice.

  10. Maggie I don't know what was going on but it was some dance festival of sorts - the colors where amazing and right now at a certain time you drive at a crawls speed as there is so much construction taking place. So during rush hours within some of the main areas - it's driving within a very slow pace. I could hear this and then I decided to pull over and park and it was nice to watch as well here - I can't say I understand it at all but the colors are something that were very fine.
